I has an Idea

Sacrificing Four tomahawks to beef up a fifth tomahawk in your possession, or turn it into a "greater tomahawk" ya know, like a regular tomahawk but overall just plain better

for example: sacrifice- lightning, venom, fire, ice, with dark toma in your possession = Greater Dark Tomahawk

I definitely support this idea. It is an easy way to add many new hard to get items to the game, plus it would give players something to do for a very long time.

In addition to this, I think that the dark tomahawk should be reskinned. Then take the original dark tomahawk and make it a lesser tomahawk for mid level players.

Again, this is a quick and easy way to add new content to the game without really working too hard and it would give us higher leveled players something else to do other than bunny hop with our raven maces all day.

Tis an idear... Maybe I can make a smith in Sorcville that can handle that sort of task. Tomahawks should be quite improved in the next patch however (never did mean for them to be so heavy).

The Dark Tomahawk does have its own skin (should be gray). Tomahawk skins tend to skew in certain situations though (bugz).

It would need a new model, but I suppose sprucing up an existing Tomahawk shouldn't be all that hard.

Perhaps the distinction between the tomahawks and the greater tomahawks could be in their charges. I propose adding one extra charge to the greater tomas that would summon a minion of maldora of the tomas element. Of course, giving a small damage boost over the lesser tomas might be appropriate as well.

I say Greater Tomahawks should have a level requirement of 30 to use, 32 to throw and 35 to summon a minion. It might be more reasonable to make the summoning charge depend on your spellcasting level, though. If that route were taken I think 28 poison, fire, etc. is reasonable to summon a normal minion and 36 in the appropriate element for a greater minion. I've always thought msc needed better versions of the snake staff and this could be a cool way of adding them.

And speaking of the snake staff, is it possible to make it function similar to summoning skeletons? By that I mean, as your affliction level increases the more powerful snake you can summon? I'd like to be able to summon the cobras in lodagond someday.

I thought the distinction would be that the greater ones would be better all around than the reg tomahawk, because it takes a sacrifice of 5 of your tomahawks to make on of these it has to be good enough to make sacrificing 5 tomahawks worth it

Something to consider is that folks cannot ticket Tomahawks right now, and they are also very heavy ATM. I wouldn't want to encourage folks to go through pains hanging onto them for something like this down the road.

most of the players who would get all the toma's would be the players with A)High level (Low weight), B)Able to do OldHelena for the lboh, or C) Have mules

Its just a matter of time until some slightly more powerful weapon or some new gameplay element appears that can make maldora "easier" (less annoying)

Happened with the bandit boss, could happen for maldora.

That happens to all bosses eventually... Back in 1.0, folks complained that Keledros was ridiculously overpowered. Now they just laugh at the poor little necro as they bowl him over - between elemental resistance, and the shear power of godly weapons coupled with 20 levels of stats that were inconceivable at the time of his creation.

Not sure what yer getting at though.

Just saying that the real pain, rather than hanging with spare tomahawks, is getting them.
