hello every one :3 i have played this game before and i want to try to make a map i have been working on one but it "suck ith" but its my first

and no its not a cheat map only a player start thing on it

just woundering how do i make it so i can test my maps ?

im really "really" a newbish at this stuff and Away i go !

You need the MasterSword FGD to add MasterSword entities to your maps. The two things you always need are the ms_player_spawn and the ms_player_begin entities.

The real FGD has never been released to prevent people from making cheatmaps, so somebody made a half-incomplete FGD about four years ago or so I believe... It's rather crappy, but it does the job (and it has the starting entities).

Posting a link to it before would get the poster banned, but if I remember correctly Kuroneko doesn't really care anymore, so I'll just risk it again:

Hopefully MS:C will follow the trend of ther other modern mods and include it's FGD in the install.

I've no idea why we still don't have an official MS1.35 FGD though. What could people do with it that they haven't already done with the half-assed one that's, apparently, been declared legal? (Granted, I think most of the cheat maps were made with no FGD at all - many don't follow the defaults of the half-assed one.)

thankys now how do i turn it into a .BSP so i can test maps i make ?

You need to compile it through Hammer (press F9) or through some other method (I prefer writing a batch file to compile).

See if you can keep Alyx and Dr.Breen on seperate sides of the map.

(I say this because the common GMOD Ragdoll pose, you know what, nevermind I do not want to think about it.)

gross... i never done any thing like that im trying to make tanks and stuff
not the things that small kids do grrr... i offen remove em when i see that

im just glad posting things like that on the facepunch fourms get you banned
and most "good adults" as admines ban the guy who did and and remove the pose...

this is a sick sick world we live in and thats why i live under a rock !
