yeah, um sorry for being a dumb face but i tried installin 1.35 and i cant run it on steam. i was looking for the folder and there isnt even an executable.
Help please

huh? theres no executable for this.
You install it to half-life/ms
When its installed, you can run it with the command line "hl.exe -game ms"
I hope that is what you're asking. You should be able to see it in Third Party games. If you can't see it, sometimes a restart of Steam will fix it.

HL mods don't genereally have executables. Rather they are DLL's loaded by the HL engine.
Close Steam by right clicking on the system tray icon before installing MS.
After you install MS, reopen Steam. Right click on the system try icon and select "Play Games"
Scroll down, and you should see "Master Sword" or "Master Sword Yar" under Third Party Games. Double click it, and yer good to go.

Scroll down, and you should see "Master Sword" or "Master Sword Yar" under Third Party Games. Double click it, and yer good to go.

okay, i installed it into half-life/ms....... i can play it using normal half-life but it wont run on steam. and yes i downloaded the steam patch... and no its not in third party games..

Errr wait... (rubs temples)... You can "play it in normal half-life"? Are you trying to tell you mean you have a Won install and a Steam install?
Alright, generally speaking, Won and Steam installs use seperate folders. To make MS work with STEAM you have to unzip the rar file here:
Steam\SteamApps\yourusername\half-life\
Also, note again, you must exit Steam before doing this.
Last thing I can advise, I suppose, is to get the automated installer, located inside this 38MB ZIP file:
http://www.thothie.com/ms/MS_v1.35_Enhanced.zip
It will find the proper Steam folder on its own, ensure that the game is installed in the proper folder, and put a shortcut to the game on your desktop.
