Thanks JM. I wrote here because u responded a little slowly. I know the file. I asked the wrong question, actually I wanted to know how to open it. In ms1.3 there was free .bmp files in folder.

Tried out a bit stuff on the scrolls. I'm not really satisfied, but If I could, I would use these pics for quicker picking of scrolls in combat.

why not just try something with out the scroll icon? it seems too cluttered with it.

Due to, something really arduous that later turned out to be stupid that I made Shurik3n do, way back in the day, and he isn't around to undo, inventory icons are restricted to a rather pathetic color palette, which means it's very difficult to make them look that clean and nifty.

Given the palette limitations, your best bet, is probably a scroll/tome surface with an elemental icon, perhaps denoted with roman numerals if you wanna be more specific (and perhaps have something ready for the ever pending spell revamp). Putting the actual name in the image itself would be a jarring inconsistency though.
