I'm the one who added the extra content, Dridje. Thothie was the one who made tweaks to the map so it was user/FN friendly.

This map is still in progress. Its a pretty big map (and from what I'm making, a pretty low level map) although Thothie will probably spice it up for me.

here are some updates:

Don't count on that... I'm considering looking in to recompiling Thornlands to cut down on the edict errors and end the nightmare thornlands snow bug. Meh, I'm never going to get to make my own map, am I?

Tis the default skymap - he probably just hasn't chosen one yet.

Yeah. When I map, I don't usually change the skybox till I have like 50% of the map done.

Mine doesn't involve recompiling. Allow me to make a venn diagram (Has ANYONE made these since school?)

Now let's stop spamming the topic. We're going Tokyo Drift out of subject.

So... how many times has my thread been jacked now?

As for the spicing, I meant it as in the difficulty of the enemies. (As you altered in Chapel - the Petrified Paladin)

The map will be more stable than chapel, despite its larger size. There are 2 'safe' zones (as long as enemies don't find their way to those locations): the beach and the inland area. They are both outlets to enemy areas.

Basically Isle narrows down to this event tree:

Oh he was hidden out of the way, and I boosted his treasure quite a lot, or I woulda left him as he was (figured he had the hardest to find treasure on the map, midas well make it worth something). Wouldn't have bothered if I hadn't been making new chests for the map.

Finishing this is taking a lot longer than I thought. My comp has been hijacked by Cat! He plays/maps most of the time so my time budget for mapping is very very slim, I tell you!

On topic:

The forest is coming along nicely. The map production is almost finished and I will up it as soon as possible.

Double post! >.<

Anyways, the map is almost finished. I'm adding in the very last connector and it will be completed by early next week.

Isle, like Chapel, is a very "adventurous" style of mapping and I was wondering what kind of other styles I could use, but to start off I need some ideas for different kinds of maps, so suggestions will be helpful!

None
Open-ended free-roam maps are the best things since sliced bread. Please do more maps that rely heavily on free-roam, because I'd hate to see Vastly Linear Dungeon Map #307 (VLDM307) in which you have to slash your way through 30 bland undetailed rooms, spending fifteen minutes in each of them, only to find a boss that's almost impossible to beat.
