Those sound like personal problems, not problems of this patch

Dropping a summon undead scroll crashes the server.
Will see if I can duplicate.

On nightmare_thornlands I spawned before my friend (I was listenserver host) and dropped him a wooden long bow. When he spawned I was invisible as was the longbow.

You might wind up invisible on your client in certain situations, certainly if you remove and re-add your armor. You should not be invisible to other clients though. This is part of the armor display fix.

You can type 'vis' in console to override this. It'll much up your armor display to other clients, but you'll be visible on your own.

Edrin no longer goes back to his starting position after you jump in the fountain. Ever. >_>

'vanish'-ing summons that are ice shielded keeps the glow around >_>

Seen this. Glow should vanish when the ice shield would have ended. There's no easy way to cancel an effect once it's started, so I can't do much about that.

Could you possibly force the ice shield to break?

I know about the regular invisibility from adding/removing armor. However, he could not see me at all or the bow that I dropped until I restarted the map. However, he could obviously read what I typed.

Maybe he got the ent bug.

I was going to post that, but then I realized that it shouldn't have been fixed by the map change =\

Sometimes it does, iirc.

Could you possibly force the ice shield to break?
Again, if there were an easy way to do that, it would do so when you died, and all other nutty effects, that you sometimes still have with you when you respawn, would end when you died as well.

I r thinking I need to make fundamental changes to base_effect to make this possible, but it would also, likely, require editing of every effect, and some override, to prevent effects I do not want to end with death from resetting.

No free edicts.

My server went down with Tull, Nando and I in it. Map was Calruin2 and we had just activated the volcano. It crashed a little after.

My server gets no free edict errors about 3 times a day.

The experimental AMXmodX seems to agrivate it quite a bit, I know it eats a lot more resources.

I suspect if/when we migrate to modX, we'll have to have two seperate installs: AMX2006 for the lower end servers, and, if we can make it stable, modX for the next-gen CPU servers.
