I can't tell much from the pictures, but I had thought before that a Ski Resort map would be a good concept for L4D... Obvious bit being alerting the hoard, while awaiting for a ski lift to arrive. Avalanch revealing zombies might also be doable.

Still want to see a L4D mod that tells the story of how this Stephen King'esque crew got together to begin with... Maybe tell of the day before the infection set in... Who setup all these safe rooms, lifted the gun laws, etc.

I think who lifted the gun laws were the zombie cops

In the first map you escape from an overrun base through a snowy quarry, the second map is in a forest, the third...well i admit i like the concept of a sky lift ...could be the finale.

Well obviously it's in the skybox (or in the actual level, just scaled down to look far away) but I wanted to know HOW he did it, whether it was by actual displacements (probably not) or a flat model, or a custom texture(probably)

Its just the skybox texture with a custom skybox? You dont know how to add custom skyboxes to your levels?
