In the Sticky, a letter was requested. Not too small, not too large. I took the too small one and enlarged it a little. Yet, it still uses the old texture (so it should not be that heavy to adjust it).

I like it!

I'm sure it would take more work, but maybe making it droop forward slightly (but not too much to obscure the words) would be an idea?

But if you don't want to, I'm perfectly good with that model there n.n

I just added some more polygons (the original had two) to the letter and made it a little more... Irregular.

Yeah, you blew it on the transparency. It doesn't work.

Yep, plz. I somehow don't get it. Isn't it enough to make the transparent parts black and set the transparency flag?

Nope, needs to be a 256-color .bmp with the transparent areas set to
pure blue, i.e red 0, green 0, blue 255.

It is a 8bit-BMP. I didn't remember that blue thing....

Nice bit, using the 1984 kung fu master text provided. ;)

Dunno if you can make it a tad larger without getting us into one of the bad extremes. (Even the oversized one might not look so awkward if the hands were still in it.)

Link says service unavailable.

I'm interested in the progress on this one... Instead of the letter from Silva's kidnappers, a good test for it, is to see if this texture can be made legible:

If you can make that readable, ye be golden.

I'm saying if you can apply that texture to the letter (or some rescaled/transparencied version), and read it, then you've done it right. ;)

If/when we get viewmodel submodels - this letter will be the basis for lots of stuff, including the world map.

My information.
Wow... a lot of modelers are popping up around the forums lately, I've noticed.

So, where are the master coders at who'll fix most/all of the bugs in MSC (especially the viewing of stats & their percentages)?

Crap. It was easy to apply the map, however there are still transparency problems. The issue is: transparency is neither black nor blue, but a specific palette color. The picture editor I use doesn't care for palettes at all.

Its different for models than sprites IIRC. It's always either the first or last color in the table. - Ye just need a new picture editor... Photoshop, er somethin'.

"lol" is right. :/

Wally is free, and has better palette control than even Photoshop, iirc. You'd have to export your work as BMP, but I think it could do it.

To test it, replace one of the view models for a weapon you know you have (such as the shortsword or what not - backup first, of course).
