Bleh, nasty flashbacks. Terror from the Deep was effin hard! Maintaining both above and underwater teams was neigh impossible to fund, and alien bases - jeeze, effing things just stretched on forever. Think I gave up after the battle over the 52nd alien base stretched on for like two real-time weeks... ><

I wonder if Little-G ever made any headway with that X-COM Half-life mod of his...

Actually, back OT - I came across This X-Com Video, which is *somewhat* funny, but more precious for so exemplary demonstrating the venom that game inspired. (Also a very good example as to how NOT to play X-Com.)

and when I was looking at TFTD videos i saw kikoskia's pacific challenge series. I thought this video was pretty funny from 2:00 on. I really lol'd hard when he said "aliens are not polite beings, they don't close doors" since that's exactly what I joked about.

btw, this anime halo trailer is worth a few lols, if nothing else (mainly giant robot chief. you'll probably know when you see what I'm talking about)
