Hello to one and all, supersoup here.
This is just a quick post to say that MS:S hasn't been given up on yet.
I'm currently assembling a new team, composed of old and new developers, so keep an eye on the jobs page over at ModDB if you have some talent and are interested in making the next installment of the Fate Sworn universe a reality.

Have you thought about releasing the alpha/beta/whatever the fuck you have and trying to interest people into dev'ing for it? A little teaser could help people see what their working with and help them decide whether or not its worth it ect ect... Even if its just Edana

An alpha would be too much, maybe just some small videos of new progress or more pictures of maps

Videos are really whats going to get people interested so i would do both.

I would have at least 1 video of slow fly through's of your best looking maps with some kind of ambient music to match each map. Next i would take some screenshots of some key points in the maps that give off real life to each map, things that stand out. after that some nice renders.

What do you have to show for your map, DarkWasp?

I'm currently working on rocks and cliffs, i'll try to get them in screenshot condition this week.

As soon as I get a workable visability breaker (the rocks and cliffs) I can bust into a whole new section of the map and lay down a large landscape.

As long as you're doing something, go ahead and sign up for ModDB. Request an add to the MS:S Dev group over there and I'll add you.

5 years ago, i play this game with friend. it very fun at that time.
but no body play ms:c anymore, only 8 empty ms:c server.

And i really want ms:s come out. If release on steam should be great, like ZP:S...

How can i help on ms:s now?
I can help on programming.
Does MS:S Dev need programmer now?

We won't likely have a Steam release like ZP:S.

We can always use help. What experience do you have programming?

Servers ain't empty. There are usally much people, but someone gotta make the start to attract people to join. You usally see enough players so please refrain from statements based on short time period experiences.

Also Necro.

I don't mind Necro. Any activity is welcome; it's usually Old West tumbleweed-style dead in here.

Haha, I was just discussing this tonight with someone.

Actively? There's me (Team Lead/PR/Level Design), Orochi (Programming), David (2d Art), Darkwasp (Level design), and then a few others who I wouldn't define as "active" but I've had contact with. Cross-team members would be Kuroneko (Webmaster) and Thothie (Loremaster).

If I missed you, and you've still got MS:S on the brain, drop me a PM.

If you'd like to join up for a position you don't see filled (or heck, even one that is) send me a PM here, on ModDB, or post a thread.

Been around since 2002, but haven't been posting actively since 2005 or so.
Thought I should check back in and say Hello, at least!

How's it going?

It's going, though slowly and unfortunately without any major milestones to report.

Don't tell anyone, but we'll be posting some media again soon.

As soon as I get it all together. I'm still waiting on some from a team member.
