Oh wait...

Will there be support for custom maps? You'll release the config for hammer, right?

In time ...Unlike the original ms we wont be opposed to custom maps, however unlike msc who allows everyone and their dog to spawn new lore and maps, we will have limitations, such as the requirement to tie the maps in to existing lore and to a world map we are currently making. (The world map can be expanded but you cant forexample make a snowy peak connected to Aluhandra because there are no icy region close to Aluhandra.)

Any Chance I could get in on the beta. I've seen the pics on Mod DB but too Many new games nowadays are essentially betas themselves requiring near 4-6 updates before the game is decently playable all the way through, starting out like that would drop popularity fast in the beginning and I've been playing MS:C for quite some time now aswell as Many many Sourcemods, (what can i say i get bored and theres just so many of them to try). All im saying is that I know how things are supposed to work and the ins and outs of the Source engine

We aren't quite there yet. However, you can help us get there faster if you spread the word. We're still looking for more developers.

When we reach a stage which is close to testing, we'll let you know. ;) It's starting to become a rare treat to find testers who actually understand testing and treat bugs as bugs instead of gameplay flaws. It is likely that we will have our betas up publicly from the beginning though, at least until we can get to a complete and stable version. We haven't made any final decisions yet though. I'm just basing this off of what the moddb says.

The ModDB profile has been edited by the Project Lead to ensure accurate information ;)

We are always looking for mappers. Do you have any kind of portfolio of your past work?

God all my old work has been deleted, I used to make maps with J-M on a source mod which failed years ago which was a similar style to MS:C. I'm going to work on a map in the next couple of weeks so i will be able to show it off soon

While you're working on a map, why not take a stab at the MS:C map of your choice, save for Edana, the Thornlands, and The Dangerous Pass. PM me with the links when you're ready.

Bump. Any updates? Shouldn't this be called master sword source discontinued since it's never gonna get released?

Be nice...

Quite a lot of work went into what there is, so it would be a shame, but MSS has been stop and go since its inception. Once in a great while, someone with eyes bigger than their stomach comes along and pushes it a bit, but it's been awhile, and with no dedicated coder, or even leader, it's in hibernation.

At the same time, that's all it'd really need to get off the ground again, and any one of the previous coders and leaders could have seen it to fruition, had they remained so dedicated.

Granted, MSC has officially seen the longest delay without an update in its considerable history, and that's pretty much entirely my fault at this point, so I'm not one to talk. I'm doing stuff, but I'm old and unwell, thus it is slow going. Luckily we're still getting support from the rest of the team, but I'm definitely the weakest link in the chain at this point, and sadly, also the most critical, but, alas, my brain only works for a few hours every few days now.

Thothie is sick, and brain no work no more. :(

Hoping for soon, but I dun wanna make any promises, and I've been saying that for almost as long as the president's been in office. August is looking doubtful though, I can say that much.
