how much protection is this going to give for the player? where does it rank between the other helms? is it a rare item? rare set? any other resistance (like a percentage of resistance from fire, ice, poison, ect..)?

can you answer any of these questions or are they things we need to find out ..

Is a sexy helmet. Worth getting, worth putting in the game, even though we all know helmets do nothing to protect you....this is sexy.

It should be a weak and fairly easy to get item, so everyone who cares about looks can be uber leet, and have a 20% damage reduction, while everyone who cares about stats can have a 55% reduction and also be uber leet...

in all seriousness, nice model, should be on-par with dark armor stat-wise (damage reduction and weight), maybe a little harder to get since it looks so much better, or make it the same as gold armor, and make people kill 3 garonhroths instead of 3 calrians in a small room with no help and no place to run

or we can go with my idea

my idea = make the body leather and the shield a buckler of sorts (zero handed shield, but only equip one) then make some greaves (armored boots) and call it good

to get it...probably make it some sort of rare thing at a drake lair (or dragon spawning pit), or we can get creative and make it only avaliable through quests! it mostly depends on what mappers are willing to make..and, as i've got my hands full at the moment...someone else will decide it i guess :\

Thought the old one was good too - just looked more like a sci-fi fighter pilot's helmet than D&D genre armor.

Got a working MDL for this yet? Shouldn't have to worry about it affecting the item limit, as it could be integrated into the existing helmet's model.

its textured with my ....... *gulp* textureing skills... but I will say that it is a little better then the gastly knights dark armor skin. and the skin is probably temporary seeing that ceriux might still skin it (if you need to skin the sword or shield, I have the unwraps for thoes so I can get thoes to u)
