'sides, more poly's = GPU work. CPU dun care.

little lower poly mans more orcs on screen.

THINK ABOUT THAT! :D

and i think bumpmaps would create the illusion of high poly look.

If the monsters are going to be low poly, the weapons and armor better be high poly :(

you bet your ass they will, dont think youll see that many players on screen so why not?

when your raiding an orc village i dont think you want below 20 fps.
besides have you seen the wireframes on hl2 models, the detail is hardly on the body, its more focused on the facial features and hands.


also update, with polycount so far.

base model is pretty much done, i just need to tweak it so the mesh flows smoothly.
