Looks lovely! Although cylinder based vis blockers always make me cringe with apprehension. :)

Ah, I made the cylinders in the middle of that room a func_wall, then placed a solid 6 sided brush inside it.
I've changed the skybox and made some progress on the exterior, now I'm on the caves section *shudder*

My treestump.mdl isn't showing up in-game :eek:

Is it possible to block summoning in a certain area? I've just made a puzzle, and I don't want people to be able to use summoning in it. :roll:

I'm trying to remember if summons are subject to monster clips - if so, you wouldn't be able to summon one inside a monster clip. If that's not the case, or if that'd mess with monsters inside the area, I can possibly rig up a summon suppression trigger, similar to the Glow suppressor. Possibly even a trigger that simply slays summons in an area.

It's sometimes difficult to spawn monsters on uneven terrain, but not impossible. More specifically, if you are facing a downhill slope, the monster should spawn fine, but a sufficient uphill slope will stop it. Basically, the game checks whether or not the monster can be "moved" from where you spawned it - if it can't, it considers the spawn spot invalid (eg. in a wall, or something). Needless to say, the system is not all that dependable. I've not fiddled with it since the original 2005 design.

I have some monsters in the same area too, so adding monster clips will mess up their navigation. If you can make a summon suppression, that will be very useful to mappers :eek:

I've populated the map thus far. I expect to finish it in a week or two, all I need to do now is the forest area where the Orc and Bandit chief reside.
