Which method should be used for the server online status test? Also, do I keep all the old AMX files?

Heartbeat method. I believe heartbeat.amxx is included by default. If not, post back. Also, you should keep the old AMX files in case something goes screwy.

I'd believe that if it weren't for the fact that my server is crashing under the heartbeat, since the plugin is not there.

if your having issues with the heart beat method use this instead.

I find it very powerful you can really tell they have spent some time on it, keeps my server running even after some rather interesting crashes to.

good :D

now just one more thing change the percent needed to pass a votemap to 90% this way if only two people are in your server both must agree to it not just one of them.

Mine is set to 60%, for the majority rules...Rule.

EDIT: This autorestarter is not detecting my server after awhile...It might be the port, which was set to 27016, I'm now going to try 27015, and see if it does any stupid stuff.

EDITEDIT: Used port given by "See Server Info"
Server check is still getting "No Reply," and is killing the server repeatedly...

Port doesn't matter to the autorestarter, it only looks for the executable. You do have to have the heartbeat.amx plugin running to use the AMX heartbeat method though.

The plugin is included with the current MSC AMX install, you just need to enable it in the msc/addons/amx/config/plugins.ini (it should already be there, just remove the semi-colon ( ; ) in front of it.)

edit:
NVM - you are using AMXmodX. The AMXmodX package is still in beta. I've no idea where you got it, but I do not recommend hosting a server with it as it has tons of problems that need to be worked out (hence, why my server is testing it). So... You are boned.

*sigh* I shouldn't encourage using the AMXmodX given the condition it is in. Are you using Hummingbird's or did you start you rown?

In anycase, here's an AMXmodX compile of heartbeat.amx that should put an end to clipboard mode for ya:

I've run into some major issues with it. It eats a lot of edicts, so expect your no free edict crashes to double. The chat log also isn't working proper, and the votemap system is completely unrestricted. (make sure there are no non-FN maps on your server, as people can vote for those too.)

The chat log thing not working I'm going to need to do something about, as that's really where most of my bug reports come from.

Never told me about those, what's going wrong with that? <- Just tested it right now, works (for me...)

Meh, I'm having Shuri give it a look. Because I can't seem to find out what the issue is. I'll just kill myself if its another simple typing error >.>

Actually I take that back, it isn't entirely broken... Tis just my sys not modifying the date proper... However. Connections are all showing up in "CHATLOG-.log" while chat is showing up in "CHATLOG-2007.07.log"
