I think it's on my MSC page somewhere. Jeeze, I need to index that thing or somethin, tis a mess. :|

You may want/need to rename the map though (say unrest_old.bsp) - Jester's new series may use the same map name.

I must say I've seen some of Jester's newer work, and his new maps are much clearner, and shouldn't lag so much, if at all.

Well I wanted to do a simple recompile of unrest to at least put the transition there but it doesn't want to compile... guess you'll have to wait for the full revision for that so i'll get unrest2 finished up and put it up here soon, hopefully with a good file host.

Ok I put it up on my freewebs, I know it sucks but my reliable hosting doesn't want to accept zips :evil:
nvm had to put it on rapidshare cause freewebs sucks.
Tell me if this works and any criticism on the map please.

Grr I can't seem to find ANY way to host these files reliably. Can someone point me to something other than rapidshare?

Annoying map >< - but well assembled. ;)

Issues:
- Calrian doesn't always spawn: don't chain him to multiple spawns with multiple fireallperish- use one global undead warrior spawner, and have the tigger_counter count the killtargets of each monster in its que - avoid using the fireallperish at all in this instance. (remember, set spawnloc to 0 and the monsters tied to that spawner will always spawn where you place them, regardless of distance from the spawner.)

- One Spawn Point is too close to wall: if you die and respawn there, you'll have to change the map to get unstuck - as you'll continue to spawn there.

- Needs more pazzaz: put some lights in those nitches you have all over the place. Add some FX for Calrian's spawn. Map's so damn small, you could add custom content to it too. ;)

- May want to reduce undeadwarriors to 1 spawn each. V. Annoying to have to walk all over the map trying to find the one you missed - tis bad enough they get up as many as five times. (Got so fed up testing it I turned em all to rats).

The 'only safe way is through the lava' traps are kewt. I dunno if you could make a periodic trigger_hurt to make the spike damage more natural though. ;)

For those server hosts that have complained that Unrest2 has become a camp fest since Keledros and Calrian became candy stores:

Also fixes the fubarbed spawn, and has better 'spawn merge prevention'. Much wider array of skeletons to battle, although it's still a hack and slash map. Keledros and Calrian have been replaced with a Firegiantghoul and Flesheater, respectively, half the undead warriors are now either Fleshseater Minions or Bloodreaver Minions with a scattering of Maldora's. Not as treasure happy as it was, but still a good XP run and somewhat less repetative than before. (Still chance for poison scroll and dark helm) This mod requires the SC.DLL of June 6th 2006 or later.

Jester maybe getting around to doing something more creative with this map later.
