1. Load Steam
2. Run Half-Life (if you haven't since steam install - it's been a while for some!)
3. Go to STEAM/STEAMAPPS/you@email/ directory
4. open HALF-LIFE directory
5. copy MSC into HALF-LIFE directory
6. Go to "My Games" in steam and right click HALF-LIFE and click Properties.
7. Click "Set Launch Options" and add the following:

" -game MSC "

8. Double-Click Half-Life to play!

Since some Steam account don't conform to the @email format, here's a utility:
http://www.thothie.com/ms/find_steam.zip

If you have Windows XP/2k or higher, run the batch file inside that zip, and it will open an explorer browser window in your Half-life folder (it finds it using your registry). Copy the MSC folder to that directory. (Copy the folder, mind you, not just the files).

Hopefully self-installer on next release, as promised so long ago.
