Well, being that Thothie changed "level req" to mean "level required to have a good roll" and bows HAVE no roll... That makes sense >_>

Good point, it's possible to change it to how it used to be for bows, is it?

Could make all bows and crossbows insanely inaccurate if not met requirements.

Or just not useable, cause you don't have the strength to draw the bowstring ;)

This of course is probably the best solution to keep people from being twinked out.

Heavy crossbow is perfectly accurate, even on moving targets from half way across the map. If you can see it, you can hit it. Probably one of the most fun weapons in the game. Great for PVP as well.

LIke ive asked in other forums.....Why no crosshair....if i lived back then or in the MSC world dont u think i would have done whatever it took to make the aiming better? Like a piece of pelt wrapped around the bow to use as a sight? Or even a notch? It may mean i still need a better skill to aim with the bow...but it would give me a general point in this direction to use...I do not like bows yet i love using the bow in Z:TP especially on horseback and i use the arrow itself as a sight.....but in this one i cant aim worth a flip unless im 2 foot to point blank range....now a xbow might be better for me but im new so i have a bow.....and since i cant aim it woth a flip without dying to hit my target...lol...i guess tap on screen is a little exteeme....so maybe a training bow? Even if it gives no experience just lets us weird new people learn how to aim a little better would be neat...2cents or 2miilion dollar idea...you be the judge..

Different bows have different accuracy and range, wich one are you using? I'll make a short description of them all :
Tree bow - Very short range and unreliable accuracy.
Orcish bow - Medium range and medium (still unreliable) accuracy.
Short bow - Same as the orcish but a slightly better accuracy.
Wooden longbow - Long range and very good accuracy. Shoots like an inch at the right of the point of the arrow.
Elven longbow - Longest range and best accuracy, you can rely on the point of the arrow.
Thornbow - Increased damage, medium range but perfect accuracy.

A crosshair would do no good since all the bows are shooting in an arc, find a wooden or elven longbow first and notice the path of the arrows. If you can't see it well due to lag or something, you could train on a LAN server you make just to see it.
Remember that different arrows have different "weight" too, so it affects their range and arching.
There's also a light crossbow that hits instantly where you aim but it shoots in the middle of the screen. Heavy crossbow has a very nice iron sight and a future crossbow will have one too .
