Something that might be intended

Hey, me and my brother run on the same Steam acc, and when we try to connect to the other one's server, it says "This steam ID yadda yadda already in use on this server". Is this a bug or intended, cuz it doesn't occur on any other mod, not even the original HL. Except original MS. So, again, is this intended or no?
