The G-Man has no power over the Combine, so he no sendie Advisers. In case you haven't noticed, he used Gordon to blow the portal up in HL2, but he was unable to do anything else after EP1 because of the Vortigaunts.

The gnome-in-space thing takes some determination. Nothing to stop you prop_physics_create-ing a gnome just outside the rocket though.

The Ep2 Dodge Charger is gr8.

beginning of the game, he is located inside the small building when alex contacts her father. You should find him in the lower right corner if your looking at the locked door... well locked till alex unlocks it.

I noticed Lamarr climbing around, but didn't think he made it inside/stayed there.

I rammed him where the rear window would have been, and then drove as quickly as I could before it fell out. Rinse and repeat, must say carrying the gnome around with you made the game feel very different.

I would sometimes throw the gnome at targets whip out a shotgun and blast them in the face pick the gnome up and keep running. Sometimes I would find a nice place to place it so I wouldn't have to worry carrying it around for certain sections.

Anyway you look at it, the gnome adds an interesting level of play to the game.

Yeah, I saw him looking there by accident.
Then I immediately went to Google to search for more G-Man sightings in Episode Two, and apparently there are three in total:
1) The obvious sighting where he starts talking to you about getting Alyx safely to White Forest.
2) The sighting I just posted.
3) The G-Man's silhouette can be seen on the nine-monitor setup just after Kleiner leaves the briefing room in the White Forest base and about two seconds before Alyx tells her dad to "prepare for unforseen consequences". I'm going to get a screenshot of that now.

You know what's even creepier? After Kleiner walks out of that room, Eli walks away from the monitors, towards the couch. Alyx happens to look away from the monitors (as you can see in the picture) and then the G-Man's silhouette flashes about four times on the monitors. Immediately after the final flash, Alyx looks at the monitor (but she's too late to actually see the silhouette) and then walks straight to Eli to tell him to prepare.

Also, did anybody notice the "LAUNCH" label next to the launch button? There's something on the letter A (no idea what, brown duct tape...?), which makes the label appear as "LUNCH"

There are actually 25 seperate possible g-man sightings in Episode One. I used to have a walkthrough link to them all, but it seems to have gone deadski... I assume there's some similar amount in Episode Two.

Three sightings in Ep2. G-Man isn't so abundant outside City 17. Maybe he'll pop up just outside the Borealis in Ep3.

Are you sure about there being 25 sightings? I thought there was only one (the first sighting). The vortigaunts do something to capture him, which is why he doesn't pop up in Episode One.

if you run through ep2 with commentary on they actually tell you that the G-man was never to be seen except for the vort scene.
