honestly though, they probably accidentally change the format of the thing or some such and it messes up...that or they change thier .blob files and forget to send out the new ones.

Hmm... well the Steam staff is teh stupid. I have yet to find *ANY* contact information should I need help with something, that leads to a PAYED EMPLOYEE FOR STEAM!!! Everything I've seen thus far leads to steampowered.com/forums where I am flooded by incompetent volunteer jackass moderators, who don't know what the hell is wrong whenever something is.

yeah...thats pretty much how valve deals with things, they get a bunch of moderators and tell them to just refer people to the FAQ instead of actually suggesting things to them or telling them whats wrong.

I sorely miss the WON system

It was so much more effective, and trust-worthy... and it also had that homepage website concerning it where you could download any & all maps that had been played on it for any & all mods... now THAT was awesome... having a centralized downloading place for games.

I remember, on the WON system, when I first played the first release of Action Half-Life; it was actually FUN back then!!
