Looks interesting, but I have a ton of questions to which I could not find answers on the ModDB page:
- Is this a medieval fantasy RPG or not...? If so, the "tech" kind of ruins it.
- Could the story possibly be more vague? Sorry, I personally don't like it.
- Do you have a list of things that'll be in the first release?
- Is your team big enough to finish a first release?
- When will we see a first rel... no I must not ask such questions...
- Why are you throwing out spoilers considering vast amounts of monsters, weapons, armors and XP?
- How many wpoly are you getting in this map? 40 000?

If you pull this off though, I'd play it for that map alone. It looks great, although I really really really really doubt that's going to run properly in Goldsource.

Damn, i didn't notice that map when i was looking around at the pics. Look's really nice, but yeah does golden source engine even handle such a thing? :oldshock:

Perhaps, if those distant buildings are a cleverly placed and designed sky brush.

-Yes and no. Play warrior or sorceress if you like medieval, and tech/ chemist if you want guns. I'd call it an RPG...
-Sorry to hear that. What part of it do you not like most?
-Look @ the features section of the mod db
-Yes albeit we could use a hand with some things

-To build interest, thats only the undead monsters though so definitely everything isn't spoiled.
-Mapper says there are 16,000 ish faces
-It runs beautifully. (Jeez thats only the first town, there are three more that I think top it in mapwork, not to mention the adventure levels)

No every building is real, and most of them have insides too!
Edit: Lol, de nile is not very punny

Must be a Source map then - As I suppose the HDR glare would suggest... Or that image is the actual FPS. :|

(And it does tend to at least smell punny this time of year.)

I set gravity to like 50 and jumped and as I was falling repeatedly hit F5 to screen shot. Then I compiled that into a .gif, I'm gonna use fraps to get an actual video and show you the map at 45 fps! Nope our coding guy came up with a cheap HDR for goldsrc!

Better yet, link the BSP.

I dunno... Maybe if that really is the entire map, and he's in the very corner of it... And the HDR is covering a lot of sky brush - and only one or two of those buildings is hollow, with no brush-work furniture... Even then...
