I think it also crashes at Maldora if he drops a tomahawk sometimes.

Let's see... If a player dies to the horrors in the blue crystal area, it crashes. Once Maldora dies, there's like a 50% chance that the server crashes when it drops a tomahawk (i have no clue why this happens though).
And another thing sort of related to it but its no bug/glitch is the fact demon bludgeons killing the yellow crystal in 3 hits which seems redicolous (sometimes they also do multi target hits and put the crystal on fire then it blows up).

Actually...Since I am no longer in charge of the lore, but you...The while elf thing...
It is kinda your call, All I ask for though is that the updated version is released so that the bugs are fixed, and the difficulty set to an appropiate level along with dialogue.

It's not getting me a new map either way.

Lodagond-4's issues be strange. I've never seen the horrors at the blue crystal crash. :\ I dunno why the ones in the water started crashing, but I've made efforts to stop poison cloud sprites from manifesting underwater. Dunno what's up with Maldora crashing either, but I made some efforts to reduce what he's doing on death earlier...

I wonder if it be a sprite limit... The sprite generation for things hitting the water and leaving slight splash sprites (aside from rain drops) seems to actually be engine side (or at least I can't find where it is in the code for the life of me). If that's it, the dramatic sprite reduction we've done should fix it... However, one would *think* if it was the sprite limit, it'd just crash during map precache the way Calruin2 used to. :\

Although maybe not... I'm thinking Calruin2 was dieing at map start, rather than precache.

If I stay underwater as long as they're alive I never crash. I've had it crash on several above-water occasions. Once the instant when I surfaced, once when I was on the ladder, a few times when I was even walking around on the ledge above the pool.

I just stay underwater and kill them with a Torkalath fire bow (this takes half a day though) or chain lightning.
