Is it still beta, or has it gone official? I googled, but can't seem to get a stable answer. o_o;

So I seek enlightenment from you all, lol.

also, on a side note, you guys should really comment my story in the writing section. <_<;

It's the final release for HL1 mods, and is the version you should be using.

You can use the newer Hammer (whatever version the Orange Box is on now, for instance), but it involves a lot of modification and isn't always dependable - plus a lot of the tool work can't be exported. :/

Haha, I remember mapping The Specialists in 3.4 and trying to align models, then runmap to see if they are in position, going back into hammer and tweaking some more. 3.5 was a godsend with model rendering

I'm not sure if it's anything more than a beta, but it is the best you'll get for gold source.
