I've seen them plenty before in maps including daragoth. I can't find the texture that works with it. Tried standard wads and daragoth wad to find nothing that works. Most of the water textures just turn the brush invisible :? . Any idea on how to make these work?

For a waterfall, you need to tie one (or more) brush(es) to func_conveyor, and then you need to apply a texture that can 'move' (it actually scrolls). These textures mostly have 'SCROLL' in their name.

You might need to rotate the texture 90, 180, or 270 degrees to make it look good. On all sides, that is.

Make it a func_conveyor and try that again. Scrollfall1 is the texture used for the waterfall you are thinking of - not sure what wad it is in off hand.

You can also use a func_rotate with a water texture rendered at 100-200, good for water spouts and such (sewer pipes, etc) - or very small water falls.
