Wow. I keep forgetting there are places in the world with worse traffic than LA.
I have four sushi places within easy walking distance of me. Probably about 20 within 15 miles.
So hot though, I don't think I'd make it to the car, never mind across the street.
31 flavors of mochii so tempting though...
When that tornado takes you to the Land of Oz, be sure to get some mapping ideas while you are there.

I'm saving the drug trip maps for The Lost's Threshold ;-) They're my baraining chip with Squirrel. If he doesn't start working and finish all his maps, he doesn't get to do the Threshold map(s) XD

So yeah I saw this thread had like a whole new page of posts since I last looked and I thought some work on skycastle2 had actually been done... you guys make me sad . On the new topic of the thread, I live down in Orange County also right by the bay so its always pretty cool here 8) .

Hush your dirty complaining mouths! It's mostly entity work now, and waiting on scripts, so theres nothing new to look at.
Though I get bored of entity work, and I've started working on WW2 agian o.o.

Its more my fault than Crow's, I suspect. I'm having a hell of a time with the scripts... The Chief should be done.
Any scripts that aren't done, I'll get you place holders for, and make them do something.
I got sidetracked making the Kharaztorant Cult for AmIAnnoyingNow, his map looks just about done. J seemed to have some issues getting his NPC's to respond to ms_npcscript event, so I took some time making a map to demonstrate how that's supposed to work. Hopefully he's fine now, and we'll have a new map from him next month as well. I also took some time making new Bear Gods and escorts for Replica's Skycastle2 (ie. the one that is actually the replacement for Bear God's Skycastle) - which I *hoped* would be done next month, but maybe on delay. Then I got side tracked, yet again, refining the multi-player treasure bonus and spreading it to more maps... and making these things... So yeah, lots of sidetrack [/excuses].

Looking great anyway! However, keep sprite usage to a minimum.
Wicard Oven, which has a sick amount of sprites, crashes more often than other maps because of entity overflows. And there's nothing more frustrating than almost beating Maldora and having the server crash.

I've seen it crash the moment Maldora dies way too many times, something is up with that. Other time it likes to crash is when you click on his chest (just as frustrating).
This game generates far too many edicts, and it's more that fault causing the issue than the maps, but tis true, more sprites = more edicts. Basically any entity adds edicts, which is one of the many reasons you favor the 1 unit gap anti-split method in this game above the func_wall whenever possible, and consolidate like-rendered brushes, whenever possible.
I tried to get some help on edict control from the Svencoop team, but to no avail. I suspect the game is creating edicts and not releasing them, but as it is, I can't even figure a way to get a dependable edict count from the damned game. I just know limiting the game generated effects doesn't seem to help at all (which is very odd).

Yar it was. I just chopped off some sections from old pics, and that one was one of the few that I had the bloom mod on. Makes it looks all sexy

Nope. Really all i want is a hue change, which I know how to do now, but feel free to do it for me. I just want it a dark blue. If you feel like adding something else to it... glowing runes... w/e feel free. I just want it to look different.
