An opinion : i dont like to have secondary characters because i never lost anything on msc, i think if you create a 2nd character to store items it just would be better to give the items away to guildies/friends/medium or higher lvls that need them and a last way to solve this (TROW THEM INTO A PIT!). Also i think these "item lost bugs" having something to do with creating storage characters, because everyone i know on msc that has a 2nd character did at least loose 1 time a item on transfering to storages...
