Thank you, thank you. I figured 1.1 would be the perfect "don't worry about betapacks" installer to make it easier to get into the game, but I was mistaken. :P

yep, what's weird is that even if I Map Edana back to Edana I STILL can't pick a character - the only thing I can do is restart MSC :(

Okay.. finally ready to get back to working on my map. I'm using LAN characters, and I can "map" to change to my map without the game crashing. However.. for some strange reason whenever I map whatever I can no longer pick my characters.. it says at the top "RibaldRon<3> joins the server"...

You might try making the player spawn entity ABOVE the ground, slightly.. you'll drop and land on the ground (hopefully) not to mention that when you test it with multiple players, the chance they'll get stuck in each other while spawning decreases. The only other thing I could think of is...

Okay, I made a custom map, and i'm trying to test it.. however, it says it's not [FN] approved, even when i'm playing a LAN game and switch it from Edana to my map, which is the only suggestion i've recieved. I'm at a loss - other people test their maps that aren't [FN] approved yet. :?:

NS players are the worst people, ever. Sure, they can be good, but most of them aren't. They constantly bitch and whine about everything they can think of, and since the NS community is no longer around (big suprise that there are only 15 people on at peak hours who just whine to each other...

Yes, I already read your tutorial, that's what confused me:P I don't actually play counter-strike so seeing references to email\counter-strike and then email\counter-strike\cstrike was confusing, as I would assume the base directory for counter-strike would be email\CS :P Edit to clarify...
