Well, Sabre, you're right... I should get some ID's and post them... but are they saved in a log, and what log would that be? I don't want to help anyone get things that they shouldn't by a glitch like this. Also, I want to give those players a chance to atone for what they did before any drastic measures are taken, like rollbacks and being listed on the cheaters list. Again, I apologize for not handling the situation better. I should have pulled the plug right away on the server.

Anyone who was on the server at the time please get rid of those DC's and I think all will be forgiven. At least I hope so for your sake.

And no, I didn't take any, as I don't need to as I already own 2 sets. I have 2 sets incase FN eats one...

Back when Ryan was handing out hoarfrosts, we had to hunt down the people who had those items, they didn't willy nilly give them up.

mscave I assume you mean. I don't see anyway this could happen without hacking the server/map.

Lest something shows otherwise. Everyone on the server from 6-10pm will be rolled back a day (likely either way), and the server will be banned from FN.

Thothie, i don't mean to sound like an ass, but I would assume that if they had hacked the map/server they would have locked it and only invited certain people in. I don't want to see anybody lose hours worth of work soforth just because of a bug is all.

If you really feel that there may still be some of these bugged DC's out there, mabye a rollback is in order, but i think that should be the end of it.

I'll be more than happy to upload the server's copy of mscave to you. Could the problem possibly be that I changed the maxplayers to 12 and MS:C didn't know how to handle that number of players on the server or total hitpoints?

Good Game guys. I came in after. But FFS u dont have to ban the server and roll EVERYONE on it at that time back since its a 4 hours interval. I was in AFTER they finished and what, I'm gunna get a rollback too? But seriously, Slaytanic and Picadilly will NOT ever do some crazy sh!t like this. Anyway, I suggest Thothie try the map that Picadilly should upload(the so called hacked version of mscave.) and then see if it spawns 60k DCs again.

Actually, I lost an assload of items in a transfer while all this was happening, so the rollback is fine by me.

Sabre, you still haven't showed me how to find their ID's, I'm waiting on that one. It's not like had the presence of mind to do that in console as I was in shock about what was happening. When was the last time you saw this happen? I've never seen it happen.

Well... It looks like I and a few others have made a mistake in this case, as we just replicated this bug. I owe Picadilly and Slaytanic_Pb an apology for the accusations that were just proven false on my server.

(In other words, Thothie, we replicated the bug.)
EDIT: Btw, Slay, if you have chatlogging, you have steamIDs.

Meh, it's just suspicion. Anyway, this whole DC spawning is probably a big headache for thothie and I see the rollback as the better option until something else comes up. However, banning the server isn't the best idea. :/

Info: Sabre hosted a server and filled it up with high hp people. We then all went to mscave and tested. Second try we came across this, 65k of dark mauls in 2 chests. Also, the server was non-FN..

I will add that in light of the situation I feel that the Revolution server should not be shut down, but rollbacks should be done, unless Slaytanic can dig up those steamIDs, if he chances to have them.

Sabre, I want to thank you for allow us to prove the bug we found. It was very thoughtful of you to make that happen.

I will also like to apologize for using the f word so much... but this whole thing got me so upset, and I do like to swear like a sailor...

And also, please don't roll me back for having been in a server that had a bug in effect that I took no part of. Honestly, if this situation happened to any of you (being in a server with a bug in effect), and that you didn't take part in, would YOU think it would be fair to have YOUR character rolled back? I some how doubt it.

That being the case, Dridje and Villager, you were in the server at the time, I guess you get rolled back too right? I mean if everyone who was in the server when the bug was in effect, then EVERYONE gets rolled back, not just a select few...

And as I type this, the steam ID's are being brought up, but I think those people involved should have the chance to DROP those extra DC's, rather than get rolled back. And as far as I know, many of them have...
