Eh... But there's no reference to the MP3 in the map's ent file - not in any version of it... :\

Is it possible that maps automagically play MP3's with their own name, and we broke that function somehow?

It's not that I didn't believe you. ^_^

I looked over the script, and while it doesn't use the base AI, I couldn't find any reason the XP wouldn't be reporting. You may want to check your stats, and see if it is reporting there, just not to HUD. It used to be that no monster reported XP values (enabling that feature was the beginning of many a headache, belive me.) I'm intending to go over the code side reporting in an attempt to figure it out soon.

Alright, just showing what it looked like when you defeat him. (lol sacrafice)

Random bugs/observations:

Bloodrose:

Sometimes it lags and the stone guardians come to life when you just teleport into the room.

Bloodrose/Foutpost/Mscave:

After giving keys, heads, or rings, sometimes you can pick them back up after killing a bunch of monsters in a certain spot and attempting to loot.

...Or you can drop a whole bunch of stuff and try. Sometimes it works.

Islesofdread2:

You can kick the guards around. It's kind of silly.

Sfor:
Undamael doesn't give experience either. (could be related)

Shad_Palace:

Thuldahr seems to give the same or less experience than a regular juggernaut.

The Demon Bludgeons in the jail portion of shad_palace get stuck a lot in the sides of the stairs, and sometimes in the cells. (I don't have a picture handy, sorry.)

One of the Shahaddar Jailers (Renamed buffed thunderfist guy) tends to spawn or teleport in the tower, so you can't kill him unless you throw a blood drinker through the wall or cast spells that go through walls.

In edana sewers fog_green is now permanent, which I suppose is intentional. However today the fog_green randomly turned into fog_red with no apparent reason or trigger. It lasted like this for a few minutes and then suddenly turned into fog_green again. It isn't that big of an issue I guess but I did find it quite odd.

Volcano appears to be parry-able, which causes overflows when there are a bunch of them in a room with monsters that parry often, since they still parry the volcano fireballs even if they are already on fire.

I don't think this has been posted.

You can use Dragon axe on Lodagond 1 to push Runeghar and the ice mages into a corner. Once the mages are dead Runeghar is stuck in the corner until he teleports. But then he can teleport back to that spot getting him stuck again.

Edit: While they are talking before you can damage them you can push them.

I kinda think this kind of this was intended (I mean, come on, how could you not see this coming?)

or do you mean he actually gets stuck INSIDE the wall?

Yes he can not move while in the wall, and you can hit the part sticking out.

Are you hosting the dedicated server and playing from the same computer?

Nashalrath:

Regular Fire Elementals seem to have a /100 hit chance sometimes, so they never hit anyone with regular attacks.

If you kill a regular Fire Elemental while their fire circle is up, the sound will loop.

Misc:

Frost bows will do something similar to the above, if you put away a frost bow before the effect finishes so that you don't get the resist, it will just loop the sound on the spot you took it out instead, and you won't be able to get the resist unless you use a different frost bow.

Could be something along those lines, would help to have the "cured" version of the file. Sure wish I knew how it was playing it though - be good to know if MSC just automagically played mp3's matching the map name - no idea it did that, if tis what's going on.

Spellcasting levels seem to be capped at 37, but you can still gain exp, though it rolls back from 100% to 0%.

Yes
It means that host and play in same computer will cause lag?

It's a lot of CPU stress.

I'd suggest, if you have a multi-core or multi-thread CPU, assigning the Affinity of the HLDS.exe to the second core, and the HL.EXE to the first core. (Via the Task-Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete), clicking on the Processes panel, and right clicking on the appropriate process.) They are both single-threaded apps, so it doesn't do them any good to have multi-core access.

It may also be wise to change the priority of the executables.

Again, with the Media Fire attempting to virus me. I'd suggest blocking " popunder.urtbk.com " in your host file before visiting there. Folks need to be more careful about who they allow to purchase advertising space.

edit: Hrmm... Same file... Same modified date and same size at least... No ID3 tags... WTF...
edit2: This isn't in the betapackage, so it shouldn't have overwritten any existing file, and it still doesn't play for me when I run the map. :/

Yeah I've gotten two tomahawks this patch too and I've seen some other people get them as well. Usually getting them doesn't cause any problems, especially not on The Blades of Urd... no wait nevermind that server suck ass, sorry guys :(

Misc bugs: Transparent monsters (Like the monsters at the beginning of nash) disappear for a while after a DoT effect wears off on them.

Tomahawks (other than dark) each apply different DoT effects that don't deal any damage when thrown.

Wearing a Phoenix Armor won't stop you from dying to a COF (No resurrection)

Fire resistance potions cost 100 gold from individualized chests.
