computer problem.

hey guys, i just tried to turn on my computer and nothing happened, the monitor didnt display the normal boot up screen and my keyboard and mouse didnt light up.

what happened?
heres my specs if it helps:

intel core 2 duo 2.2ghz
geforce 8800gts
gigabyte ds3 mobo

yeah that definately sounds like a "plug it in" problem...you may also want to try flipping the switches on..

A) The back of your computer.
B) Your powerstrip.
C) Also make sure the outlet you're plugged into actually works (hook up some random appliance)

Copying the response I made from the same thread you started in Off Topic.

Sounds like a hardware issue.

First, re-seat everything in your computer (PCI cards, cables, memory, etc). If it still doesn't work, unplug your hard drives and optical drives. If that still doesn't work, start swapping out hardware with known good hardware. Start with the power supply, then memory, then the video card, then the CPU, and finally the motherboard.
