I actually reinstalled Counter-Strike: Source today just to walk around in this map - not even to play it, just to walk around. This map is absolutely gorgeous. And even though it's amazingly detailed and generally pretty open (and huge) I get an average of 50 to 60 FPS... and as you can see (above the screenshots) all my settings are maxed out, even AA, AF and HDR. Whoever mapped this did some awesome optimization work.
There's one bad thing about this map, though. Because of it's massiveness, HDR lighting (this can easily double the map size) and boatloads of custom textures and models, the BSP size is (hold on to something)...
...150 Megabytes!!!
But still, this map is one of the most beautiful Source maps I have ever seen, and definately the most beautiful Counter-Strike: Source map I have ever seen.
And just for the record: I have an XFX GeForce 7800 GTX, a Pentium 4 HT-550 processor at 3.40 GHz and 1536 MB RAM (PC3200).
Edit: The 3D-Skybox might make this map seem much larger than it actually is (or more like 100 times larger) but the actual playable part of the map is still very, very big.
