How long did it take ye? Think he's hard enough under the new boss system? I nerfed his regen rate pretty hard core due to his 10,000hp.

( "Decent" rewards... Jeeze... I'd hate to see what he calls "Spectacular" rewards. ;) )

Took us long enough, mainly because there were gimmicks in the room focusing on the minions rather than on the regen-HP-%-per-minute Maldora.
He's still quite hard, not as hard as he used to be, but still quite hard. However, I'm assuming that softening him up was the intention :p
I like the part where he no longer does his lightning-in-all-direction attack, yellow lightning mega zap you die attack, boulders of rape attack, and whatever else he does with that axe at the same time. That was really just too much.
I can actually approach him now, so now and then.

What's his regen rate per minute by the way?

.025 so.. 2.5% of 10,000.... 250hp/minute MAX (it's actually 2.5% of his CURRENT HP) - so it is a bit low.

He'll also recovers 25% of his MaxHP if he kills everyone on the server, but you should get a notice if that happens.

He does all that stuff you mentioned, I didn't change that. Lest he buggered out.

Oh, its the hammer Belmont stole from Orochi.
We played it twice. First time he was all "lets roll for the hammer!". Second time when I asked about it and he had HCed up quite a leap in damage points, he said "none said anything about rolling" and I decided that the same rules would apply as the first run. So we had a roll, in which Orochi got a 19. Then Belmont went afk and left/255ed on map change.
I used to think he was a cool guy, but this makes me doubt. Explanation?

I wouldn't let that change your view on someone. It is entirely up to them what happens to the item when they recieve it from an Artifact.

But yeah, people have started HCing and Ice Shielding again to win in points.... Can we just scrap that and you know make the DAMAGE points just be damage?

I wouldn't blame him if he where all "points gets item" the first round... We actually held a vote about it then where rolling won with 3 vs 2 where he voted for it. This was pure double moral because of greed unless he intend to do a roll against Orochis 19/give it to Orochi?

Oh Tull, don't fake up what really happened...

In the first run, we agreed to roll for the hammer (3 votes agaisnt 2), and Walter won, then the next run, noone said anything about rolling until I got the hammer because then you went like "I want to roll now", and as far I know, only YOU agreed to rolling and started rolling before everone agreed, so your point stands null, also, you said everone who was in all or most of the maps should be able to roll, and Walter only joined on Lodagond-4, how fast things change when you want a friend get an item, no Tull?

1. In the first run, we didnt agree on anything until we had the hammer either.
2. I didnt go "I want to roll now", I asked what happened to the "I wanna roll nao" you so eagerly threw out the previous round went.
3. It wasnt me alone who agreed on it. I asked and others agreed. Then all who had helped, and wanted it, rolled.
4. I wouldn' consider Orochi a friend. I don't know him, I never talk to him and he probably don't even have a clue who I am. I would consider you more of a friend than him, tbh.

I meant Walter, as you had no problem whatsoever of him getting the hammer when he only joined in lodagond-4 (and you said in round 2 only people who have been in most of the maps should be able to roll).

And noone agreed, you just said ROLL and everyone started rolling.

EDIT: And we did agree on what to do way back than getting the hammer, when Maldora still had around 50% HP left.

And i had no idea of how long people had played since I only joined on loda4 the first round. And no, I prefer it to be highest point wins, but I also prefer that the same rules applies to all, and not only when its conventional.
And Im pretty sure atleast one agreed, saying something like "okey" when I asked for roll. And lets say you're right. None said "yes, lets vote" then its still 1 vs 0. None disagreed. I gave you plenty of time because what I really wanted was to see your reaction.

Its not so much me wanting the hammer as me testing your egoism. I can go and do that map over and over a few times until I got that hammer for me, my mom and all my friends and "friends" in msc.

Oh, and we did it before? Right, cause you can't know who gets it before Maldora is dead? I believe Walter had quite a strong lead in points.

People apply the rules when it suites them, and the rules that best suite them - that's how people work. ;)

Anywho...

A WARNING TO YOU FOLKS WHO KEEP FARMING LODAGOND-4 WITHOUT STARTING THE SERIES OVER

This is exploitive behavior - Bad things may happen to your characters.

I'm going to try to come up with a way to make this impossible on gauntlet series maps, but, as per usual, my fear is it may stop legitimate transitions. However, since we obviously can't trust people to stick to any sort of rules, something will have to be done.

I'm farming the series at this very moment for exp. Is it okay to restart the map if it breaks? Me, nando, P, and status got to the end of lodagond-3 and the skeletons near the end didn't spawn. Map breaks are common in MS:C.

its fine to restart a map when it breaks, he's referring to people beating loda-4 over and over again to farm the phat lewt at the end of the loda series, which is only really there because it is assumed you've done the entire series to earn it.

That, and the extreme multiplier for the map's XP because its so far into the series.

Well, the system I'll probably be rigging would involve setting a flag on the players noting the death of the boss had occured, and removing that flag when they join the first map.

However, quest data has been screwy lately. So I'm reluctant to do it. This is doubly worrysome as any new titles or races are going to need dependable quest flags.

The multiplier has got to be the greatest thing I've ever seen in MS:C, except for maybe the fun I've had at old_helena. Great work on that Thothie! I barely even care about the artifacts at the end.
