Creatures can hear too.

Try crawling around the same area, they may not track you.

Creatures who have already seen you will track you anywhere you go.

ehh, alright...kinda wierd that they hear my friends through solid rock, but not me down the hall or somewhere else in the cave they're in but OK!

another glitch to report, aswell...

Ancient Glitch: When a player gains more XP than is required for the next level, the next level starts at 0% no matter what

Yea, the only skills leveling without any waste of XP are all null spells (volcano divination and affliction)

orcs in ms_cave have issues...they like to only walk on the slanted parts of the floor, because it gives them a tactical advantage by glitching thier hitbox - making it near-impossible to hit them

Not a glitch, it's there to stop you from leveling multiple levels at once. (You may only level 1 point per kill, max.)

PL prevention by design. Wouldn't change it if I could.

There are orcs in mscave? Bring your yard stick - those be goblins. ;)

Sadly, the little side-molding in mscave tends to mess up critters. Note to mappers: If ye got crap like that, player or monster clip it. Hallways don't have to look squared, but they have to be so on some level for the sake of monster navigation.

Bah, just got up... Thinking Gatecity for some reason, cuz that's where I noticed it real bad.

And no, not without a recompile. But I maybe able to reduce their slop size to 0 then they wont try to walk up them - but they'll get stuck on all other slopes.

Theres an old bug in ww3 which is somewhat annoying.
When the portals in Sir Geric's room are activated, the portals in the wall have issues when you use them to get into the boss room (but not when used to exit the room), you somehow get stuck halfway in the portal.

Yeah, that's my fault, a map flaw of some sort (Crow did the original map, but the teleporters and boss room setup are my addition)... I've no clue how to fix it off hand - teleport brush covers half the damn cube... Although maybe I can just reduce the push on that trigger, so you can wiggle around if it fails to teleport you for some stupid reason.

or you could oversize the trigger and put it almost all the way back - so the player is touching its edge while sitting at the back.

It's already setup that way, tis why I dunno why it no workie sometimes. Suspect some weird interaction between the super-fast push brush and the teleport brush.

I still lose 20% from small arms, even when my SA level is 31 :?
