I am unable to tunnel in so I think my ISP is all screwy or maybe that modem, I have a fear my modem may be dieing, I keep having to restart the dumb thing just to get a stable connection.

I won't be home for the next hour or so.

Until then you will just have to tough it out.

My server is still failing to connect (I've reloaded twice) and I don't see your server :|

EDIT: Disregard server being missing, filters blocked it >_>

well I guess you just fail

my server is up and running, works with FN, and I see both ports for the FN connections are fine.

there appears to be a huge influx of players, managed to max out the 50 connection limit about 4 times within an hour today...

So to rectify it I kicked it up to 100 connections... even then that maxed out...

because of all this my internets are getting stretched thin and its getting very hard to just surf the web, not to mention FN keeps locking.

If things keep up at this pace I may need a better server/faster internet to handle the load. I wouldn't worry yet however things should be fine for a while.

Think it would help if I recompiled/reoptimized the mscentral exec and passed it on? What processor does the BlastoNet current run on?

the system currently has an AMD althlon 2000+

one of the big things I see is "sticky" connections, I boosted the number up to 150 and it still maxed out :?

Yes if you could optimize it to handle connections better that would be great. Right now a server will hold up to 50 concurrent connections up until the server doc forces the restart. I guess I could just decrease the time in between the restarts, make it every 10 minutes or so. That seems to be about how long it takes for it to fill all the connections.

do to continued issues with my modem I have gone and re-flashed the firm ware in hopes to make it more stable. However it may be that I just need a new modem if not an entirely new internet service.

Although things could be worse, I will try and make do with what I have and make it do the best I can.

The VNC is not responding (actually, hasn't been responding for about a week now), so I canna do squat.

Tis not responding to pings either, so I assume either the rig or the ISP is temporarily toast.

aye you would be correct during the night (night for me) the DNS server that I route my IP through got slammed by a major DOS attack, took me right off the map thats for sure. I woke up to a completely non functional internet connection.

The VNC should be working :? Maybe you should test it now and PM me if your still having issues.

either way everything is fine now.

Is there a way we can show this status through a website, I wonder?

there is the FuzNet server, runs on the same computer as he FN itself. If you can not ping the server then chances are FN isn't working either, if you have a really bad ping on to the server chances are there are issues with the FN connection.

I host the server more for showing the status of FN more than as an a actually game server for playing in.

Although I think we would also be able to get it up on a website to cover the full spectrum, there is that server status page on the main site of http://www.msremake.com.

there may be some serious slow down with my server and possibly FN, I am downloading much needed e-books.

its for DHS (Department of Human Resources) I needs all the VBA references I can find, dumb program language is confusing the hell out of me.

everything is on the up and up, there was some odd issues blocking everyone from getting to FN except for my server, it was a simple error on my part to

*edit*
on a side note, I am using the new compiled version by thothie, on all ports as of now.
