welp i consider myself a 'demonist' christian. that just means i believe that Lilith could have existed and all that crazy stuff. and the rogue angels are a 3rd sect of angels that are just out for themselves (the gods of aztecs or whatever).

As for the female-dominated becoming male-dominated religions, makes sense. when you are a hunter-gathering society, women are important b/c they have kids. when you settle down and begin to grow crops, physical might becomes more important, hence male-dominance.

The Loki thing is just from historians trying to piece parallels between societies. Hel was a child of Loki, she just had a two-face from Batman thing going on, and hung out in Nifl-heim. Some ppl place her closer to the Greek Hades, but she wasn't in control of death or anything, in fact, they thought that people who die didn't go to Hel, they just dissapeared or went to Valhalla (if they were true warriors). Hel was just kinda bored, and lonely.

Always associated Hel more with Hectate than Hades, since she had very little, if any, actual dominion over the dead, and was often associated with male betrayle - so like Hectate and Lilith, she was a crone goddess, and often looked to by bitter women and witches who were not happy with their men.

Is better IMO

Tad more insulting, but it does get the point across.

AKA don't necropost unless you actually have something to add the conversation

Definitely no, at least not in the way current religions percieves a god.

That some otherworld exists, thats a possibility, a human is far too complex to just vanish upon death, but who knows...Perhaps a backup was never invented.

If you say "God doesn't exist" to a smart Christian, he'll agree with you. Their argument against that is that he exists, except he's present outside of our existence, thus he doesn't exist from our point of view. So essentially they make your argument compliment theirs. Tricky bastards.

Personally, I don't think there's a god. If Earth is supposed to be a proving ground, it's a pretty goddamn awful one.

I suppose that would depend on what you were trying to prove on it...

This thread keeps coming back.... I think this thread is probably a witch it should either be burned or sealed away so no one can be tempted by its witchery to revive it yet again.

Only thing dem bitches needs is smiley faces.

Also, two ex-boyfriends were wiccans(not the cry and then rip your face apart kind). I, myself, tend to follow a path of agnosticism; that is I still haven't figured out wtf I believe in.

By the gods of randiness, how hard up do you have to be to catch the nipple on that!? Tis like getting off on the tits on this. Jeeze... Fine, fixed. Bloody puritans ruin everything - Founding Father's tried to save us from em, but noo-oo, just cuz they were here first they gotta have it their way (or not have it, as the case maybe). :p

Interesting Thothie fact: no one I have dated for more than two months has ever retained the religion they entered the relationship with, for more than a month following.

Granted, they never change to the same religion either... Converted two Catholics to Wiccans. One Wiccan to Judiasm. One Helenistic Pagan to an Asatru Pagan. One Jew to Hellenistic Pagan. One Presbyterian to Lutheranism. One Voodoo priestess to Unitarianism. One Buddhist to Unitarianism. One Hindu to Baha'i. One Satanist to a Kemet Priestess. And one Kemet Priestess to Buddhism. Think I'm forgetting one or two - but you get the drift...

I'm a walking crisis of faith. :\
