There's that possibility, too, I suppose. I just know that Thothie gave a tutorial map to Squirrel (when he was foutpost-ing) on how to do teleports.

They use the monsterclip invisible super-compact stair case bit, as teleports have the problem that it's a good way to wind up inside monsters. I dunno how the svencoop pulls it - I suspect their monster AI has some function for it. If I had the source for helms deep, I could add it, but I don't. Also - I'm not sure if Little G is on about that Helms Deep, or the one with the flood of bludgeons and free chests in it we had for MS 1.3 (Don't see any reason to go back in time for either, got plenty of armies of orcs and goblins running around right now.)

We're not talking about the quality Counter-Strike map by Nipper. We're talking about the crappy Helms Deep map by LaZZeR (or it was GoPeDeRiCk, I forgot) with the eight chests in the starting area. An old cheatmap.

Meh... Either way... What happened to Narshzarlwhatitz? Why not work on a GOOD map you actually have the source for?

STONE THE BLASPHEMER!!!1

(lolz)

Hey now, it was made by Little Frodo who made The_Keep, which has gotta be one of the most popular maps we have (I've not run the stats lately)... So it's gotta be good, right? ;)

Refuse to comment on account that I've already exceeded my "make fun of little-G" quota for the year.

However, Little-G, if yer not going to work on Nasharlwhatitz, uploading the source for the WIP archive would very much be appreciated!

Il upload it sometime, i am not a good mapper and the map requires a fairly large ammount of brush work to be finished since Frodo deserted me, if any mapper wants to finish this off(basically we only need the boss room) you are welcome, and id love to to have the great Corneholio helping me since i am not an expert with Ripent, i need to study the Lanethan story and other lore works to properly make this map, the reason i chose to go back in time is to experience the lore Lanethan wrote firsthand, this post will be updated soon.

Edit: I have decided precisely where this map will be, this will be when Jiro was still a Necromancer and when he attacked a dwarven fortress using skeletons, this will mean you will see his last battle before he is blessed by Torkalath and becomes Lor Malgoriand(but the name came later), and maybe even catch a glimpse of Kurgoth, apostle of Torkalath.

This is the lore:
The poor dwarves never saw it coming. Cresting the hill over their small borderland fort came a hundred skeletons, humans mostly, carrying spears and shields and laughing wickedly. Dawn was upon them as the undead horde routed the halls, killing all the inhabitants and seizing the fort for their own.

Your mission will be to make sure the dwarves does not fall too early, and prevent the warping of the timeline

The idea is that someone went back and changed it, you go back and put it right ;)

Edit: Made a prototype but got a strange error about map script Bogusscript.script or something like that.

Not too early, and your task is to hold off the invaders so they fall at the exact time they were supposed to.

I kinda like that idea... They have to hold them off until the right time, otherwise Lor Malgoriand will have more forces and sweep his campaign. Luck2u :D
