I need help please

for some reson i cant play any of my mods online any more my game crashs every time i try and go in an internet game if soem one could i know it is not my comp i reformated my comp and it is stell doing these please some one help

ill join a game right and it just eather crashs or goes to the game screen to look for a server its really bathring me i cant get any mod to work i know its not my comp

try other games (Like battlefield1942 or warcraft3)... maybe some of the ports for hl are blocked..

or your Steam account has "Expired"

i have tryed wc3 avp2 and all that and they work fine and don't crash or any thing but steam does and your accoint cant exprer

and YES your steam account CAN expire.. i tried...

then the steam ports must be blocked by your firewall or router....

talk with your system administrator..

cant help ya about what port numbers it is....





If you didn't understanded what i said.. then takke screenshots of what happen....

if you cant use F5 from hl..

then use "Print Screen" put pic in paint and save it as a jpg file..

and set pics in here so i can see what happens....

and yeah they are blocked so if you could tell me how to unblock them im not all that smart on computer stuff so if you could please

blocked by firewall or router ? (i think thats the same thing, many routers are with firewall this days)

ask your administrator to unblovk the ports ?

the last number behind the : are the port (i think)

ask to get that openend, you cant open it if you not are adminitrator.. (only if you are a hacker, i guess you can)

i am admin of my comp and its a router i know my ip and stuff just know how to open it and make it stay so i can play

search for a online manual.. and on your language.... will make it easyer...

I do think you can find that find of stuff online...



btw.

If you are admin.. and you didnt blocked the ports, then you should be able to play steam games...

Unless you cloesed the ports with out knowing...

Well if you are admin of the router, and you can play other games, and maybe could play steam before, and dont know about ports...

Then it could be something els.. I dont think you know how to close a port if you cant open a port.... so maybe thats not the problem..
