No, 25% damage reduction against undead and 10% stun resistance. You can't mix the two.
It's good for low levels, yes.villager said:Am I the only person that thinks this helmet is an awesome low level idea? I mean seriously, does every new item have to be the newest, strongest, hardest to get weapon/armor?
All I said was that because it's new, shouldn't be the next highest level item in the game. So... of couse people wouldn't expect it to be an uber-powerful item found in a low level map. It being a low level item, found in a low level area, it makes sense, right?J-M v2.5.5 said:It's good for low levels, yes.
And being found in Ara, people can hardly expect it to be an uber-powerful item.
uh.J-M v2.5.5 said:Oh and I don't see a single person in here implying that it should be an uber-powerful item.
J-M v2.5.5 said:So what use is 25% damage resistance versus undead if you're stunned 60% (70%-10%=60%) more than you'd get stunned if you wore the stability helmet...?
Basically that's exactly what I said, so I'll just reply with:villager said:All I said was that because it's new, shouldn't be the next highest level item in the game. [Insert one of the following equally unintelligent remarks here: "villager said:uh.J-M v2.5.5 said:Oh and I don't see a single person in here implying that it should be an uber-powerful item.
I don't have this helmet, I'm not sure if I even want it, and I'm only making this comment to point out that 25% damage resistance versus undead is not very useful if you're stunned alot more than you'd be if you wore a stability helmet.villager said:J-M v2.5.5 said:So what use is 25% damage resistance versus undead if you're stunned 60% (70%-10%=60%) more than you'd get stunned if you wore the stability helmet...?
It seems that you're disappointed because it's useless to you... Uhh? If you're not implying that you dislike this helmet (because it's useless to you) then why even make this comment?
Thothie said:Cuz 75% damage resist that stacks with all other resistances vs. undead in a game where 50% of the monsters are undead is INSANE.
Shut up, thank you.Liv said:...!Thothie said:Cuz 75% damage resist that stacks with all other resistances vs. undead in a game where 50% of the monsters are undead is INSANE.

See, if you're stunned alot more, you can attack alot less, which causes the monster you're attacking to survive alot longer, and the longer the attacking monster survives, the more damage he can and will do to you, resulting in your health still declining pretty fast after all.
I'm not saying that the helmet is useless (but hey, whatever floats your boat). I'm just saying that it (probably) doesn't work as good as the stability helmet, versus undead monsters (that stun alot).
