im pretty new to the game but it seems here that clealy the devs are in the wrong here, and have no idea what theyre doing
the players play the game, they know whats going on in game, and i know whats going on too
youre just wantonly waving around your nerfbats like youre invincible
first you make the bosses far harder than the character level theyre rated for, then you nerf swords into the ground (even martial arts is better than swords now), you lie, cheat, and steal ideas from mss, annihilate twinking (the only reason this game is playable is because of how charitable some of the higher level people are)
im glad the patch hasnt come out itd probably be a cesspool of filth that youd call a game
i hope the players realise how right bou and socialist and mujahideen and tfl are, theyve all got the right ideas for this game

That was a bit.. Much? Honestly if it wasn't for the devs, this game wouldn't of gotten the community that has passed through here throughout the ages, and granted most of the community is a bunch of whiney annoying cock fucks that I'd rather have never acknowledged, but the thing is they have kept this game alive, which I'm sure MOST of us are thankful for. I wish no ill will to to the mod and would like to see it grow, in whichever way that is. I've played it far enough times that the new content will never be enough, and seeing the weapons grow and then shrink is a part of gaming. Though I'd rather just have harder enemies than weaker weapons.

Granted the nerfing isn't something that's enjoyable, and people will bitch and moan about it. To outright insult the devs, who DO play this game and DO know whats going on in it, is just outright rude and wrong. Its not exactly a hidden fact that I didn't write the initial post, but not even that insulted the devs, nor have I posted anything to insult the devs. I have great respect for the work they do, because I have worked on this mod and it IS a pain in the ass. Granted certain decisions they make may not be what the community wants, and may be mistakes or may even be destructive to the game, but that is something that can be learned from and fixed later.

If it wasn't for MS:C, there would be no MSS. If it wasn't for MS:C, this game would have died 5-6 years ago, and most of you wouldn't have something to complain and bitch about. MS:C was a godsend to the Mastersword community and the Fatesworn Universe altogether. (note: Mastersword is made off of Lanethan's universe, known as Fatesworn)

If you can't stand the game that much, delete if from your computer, remove yourself from this community, and fuck off.

With the exceptions of Maldora (sans Runeghar escort) and Runeghar himself, I've yet to see any boss last more than ten minutes against four players of its intended level - and even then there's usually some stupidity going on. Sadly, most of them usually don't even last three.

Yes, that's why everyone over level 25 has the title of "Aikido Master", and not "Fencer" - or at least they do, when you play MSC in Opposite World. ><

We've got more powerful swords than any other weapon type - there are 25% to 250% more swords than weapons in any other category. The only thing we have to justify this, other than modelers just happen to like to make swords, is that the word "sword" appears in the game name. >_>

Of the 37 swords in the game, only two have ever received any "negative attention" that I'm aware of (three if you count bug fixes), and those remain among the most sought after weapons in the game. Further, the five most powerful melee weapons in the game, are all swords.

(Also worth noting that some of the complaints tw makes repeatedly, involve one super-sword or another rendering some less-than-super sword, or other weapon, obsolete. eg. Hoarfrost vs. GiB, or Felewyn Blade vs. Golden Axe. Which, in essence and irony, is complaining about swords being too powerful.)

There's an original accusation. No offense to MSS, but I was entirely unaware MSS had any ideas to steal from! This is good news! By all means enlighten us, and I'll be sure we steal them. I mean, it'll promote consistency between the mods, if nothing else.

The Mujahideen and the self-defunct TFL guilds have always had some of the best hackers MSC has ever faced, if cheating like mad is what you call a right idea for the game. But beyond that, I think I've yet to hear a single idea from either of them.

Some members of the Socialist guild, before its existence, and several members of BoU (not of team whine), have had some actual ideas for the game, and several of them have been integrated. Granted, some of those ideas are among the ones team whine complains about the most, and a few even appear in this nerf log.

Team whine doesn't have any ideas beyond, "Give us all 2000hp and 255 skill stats" and either a) make sure no one lower level than us can play, or b) make sure they are all as powerful as we are within their first day of playing (tw's opinion seems to shift on that latter bit). If team whine submitted actual ideas, rather than just begging for more power and attacking the devs, I wouldn't call them by that name.
