Stuck in her jar...
Still waiting for an answer thothie!
Want me to make it?
If so... keep the little orb or toss it?

If yes I'll whip up some more plans and have a vote for them or something...

Yes, but a 3 inch object looks about 30 inches with a low resolution on a large monitor. []XXXXXXXXXXX[]Iunderstandwhathewastryingtodosonoexplainationneedediamjusttryingtoturnitaroundonhimalthoughiamsurethisexplanaitionisntneededbecauseiknowyouarentstupidbutdoyouseewhatiamdoinghere/
For example this ASCII sword would stretch the entire length of his monitor whereas it only takes up a small chunk of mine. In other words, my 22 inches is bigger than his 22 inches.

You are here --> X
Maybe he wills it to be bigger than yours even on a low resolution. If he wills it, it happens.

There aren't any flashing element's on the HUD currently...
I meant to the game sorry. I already have enough trouble as it is with magic campfires ,and level ups which I have to watch out for or I can go into a seizure =(.

People like that aren't supposed to be playing video games you know, that's what all the seizure warnings everywhere are for...
Bah really its very over hyped. I mean yes it does happen ,and I must be prepared for it as to be always sitting while playing a game or watching tv ,but I usually don't even get all spazzy from flashes or have a seizure. It starts as involuntary muscle twitching/movement usually ,but on rare occasion I do have a full seizure.

It looks nice, But the current hud seems fine, and there's no need for the current effect because the flashing epileptic lights should tell you.The idea of the Exp bar seems more modern, but what skill would it show you?

But what really stood out was having enemy's HP appear near the hud, you'd get an idea of how much Damage you can deal and if your DPS is high enough to kill the enemy. It's also easier because I'm tired of looking up to see the enemy's health.

You can see health bars with a Bloodstone Ring already, but they appear over the enemy and are easily blocked.

Not got anything from Lilly yet, and of course, not sure if I could apply it... We have a rather ugly hud status system working, could use some status icons, if Lilly is still up for artwork. Need 64x64x256 color icons representing stun, ice, ice shield, protective shield, burn, lightning, and poison status. Also icons for demon blood, bludgeon rage, and vampire blood. *maybe* also need icons for tempory immunities (cold, fire, ice, lightning, poison). The bottom 4 pixels of the 64x64 icons should remain clear, as that's where the status bar goes, apparently (so you'll likely be centering icons up high a bit).

...We actually need some female voice acting... As Lady X refuses, and the last chix0r I had do voices did the voices for the Ice Queen and The Cold Lady, and she, well, you know... ;) Plus it'd be nice to have more than one original female voice in the repitoiré.

We're down-sampling everything to 22khz mono, and I've got two or three sound studio's worth of voice cleaning and altering software here, so even a crappy voice recording will do, if anyone wants to volunteer.

I'm also looking at the five old wizards imprisoning Undamael, and I think I need voices for them too, but I can't seem to get a hold of Poof and the rest of the fan-dub crew... Plus I think the two of them exhausted their voice range for wizards with the four ice mages and Sorc Chief. So if you know anyone who’s good at sounding like an old fart, or five (other than yours truly) please feel free to volunteer.

Tis five wizards, no reason one or two of em can't have deep voices... Depending on how flexible yer voice is, I figure most folks can do two or three wizards... More than that tends to be pushing, even for professional fan-dubbers like the Saiko crew. ;)

Here's the script: BEWARE THIS CONTAINS SPOLIERS - sorta, kinda.

Felewyn’s lines are at the end (she's less chatty than the wizards).

That dialogue is flexible. If you wanna add some more personality to it feel free... I think it'd be kinda kewl if each wizard had a very distinct and extreme personality, but there's only so much space to demonstrate such. The number and the approximate length of the lines, however, needs to stay the same. Max length for any one line is 7 seconds, and it should be kept to five seconds or less, whenever possible.

One bit of advice I would have though is: EN-NUN-CEE-ATE... There's a lot of reverb in this chamber, and any mumbled words will be lost. I notice even semi-professionals have trouble with this, if you look at the wave files in: msc\sound\voices\sc_convoX.wav

Well I attempted to dub over the wizard's lines until I realized I basically had otacon and snake talking back and forth.

It shouldn't be too hard, I'll see what I can do with the paint img.

I wrote it more as a prototype than anything, and those classes are horribly wonky.

It should be starting at the end of the 64x64 img... But it wouldn't surprise me to think that the Setpos() would position it to the middle of the bar with how messed up the other stuff is.

Also, my attempt at voice acting with a 5$ headset: http://files.filefront.com/Wizard2zip/;10115632;/fileinfo.html.

The voice on the first set is fine. ;) The Dr. Claw bit don't work so well for the good guys.

Wiz2_L3.wav came out the best. Got some breath going into the mic on L1 and L2 (mind yer dubbaya’s). ‘might be able to fix that, but a new source would be better.

Everyone wants to do wizard 2, so there maybe some competition going on here. It’d be too much to ask everyone to do all five and take the best of each, so IDK how to arrange this.

Back OT to the status icons…

The status icons would be applicable as they are now, except I don’t have that remove all icon function.

I run widescreen, that maybe why the icon bar strips are running over the icons as badly as they are on mine… I think it’s actually going over a good 8 pixels, rather than 4. It’s not so bad you wouldn’t be able to ID the icon, so I suppose I should just say 64x64 icons, and just deal with it from the code side, rather than the art side. (Maybe additive render bar?)
