HAHA ranking system v3!
I have collected all the information from the previous versions and integrated them all together, I have the level requirements, a few have a time spent in guild limit on them as well. So lets get started!
Title information:

These ranks are for the three founding members of this guild
Captain - head of the ship everyone follows his commands
Lieutenant - only takes orders from the captain, will command the ship in my absence
Master - keeps peace on the ship, general ruler will only take direct orders from the captin or lieutenant.

these are the ranks attainable by the members
<Rank 1>
landlubber - everyone starts off here, stays this way for a week. Then they can get a crest, and will be considered a full member of the crew.
<Rank 2>
Mate - You are now a shipmate, a general grunt. You must be in the guild a week before you get this title.
<Rank 3>
Quartermaster - quartermaster is just like mate only difference is you rule over mates, your not all that special here. You must be level 25 before you can get his rank.
<Rank 4>
Sailmaker - dwells under the deck fixing the sails and making clothing for the other pirates, also assists the Carpenters. You must be level 34 before you can get this rank.
<Rank 4>
Coxswain - keeps the upper deck clean and helps the boatswains with rope management. You must be level 34 before you can get this rank.
<rank 4>
Powder Monkey - Keeps the powder on the ship clean and dry, the are generally maintain the gun powder, they also assist the Gunners. You must be level 32 before you can get this rank.

Pilot - the general driver of the boat goes where the captain tells him, knows his way around by the sun, stars, and the moon. You must be level 28 before you can get this rank. Limit 4
Cook - whats a pirate ship without a cook? You must be level 26 before you can get this rank. Limit 2
Doctor - Keeps everyone healthy as possible on the ship, not much more than that. Typically the doctor on a pirate ship never wanted to be a pirate. He/she was usually forced into being a pirate doctor. You must be level 30 before you can get this rank. Limit 2

Carpenter - you are the lead under the ship, anyone in your territory is under your command, your duties involve makeing sure there are no leaks in the hull and that the sails are fully functional without any problems. You must be level 40 before you can get this rank, served one month on the ship and previously had the title Sailmaker.

Boatswain - You are the lead above the ship, anyone in your territory is under your command, your duties involve making sure all ropes are secure and that the mass is getting the best air flow so we can reach maximum speed. You must be level 40 before you can get this rank, served one month on the ship and previously had the title Coxswain.
<rank 5>
Gunner - the keeper of the cannons on the ship, maintains and trains those aboard the ship in the proper use of the guns, also helps the pilot with navigation to make sure the cannons can be used to there best ability. You must be level 40 before you can get this rank, served one month on the ship and previously had the title Powder Monkey.

I have set up a multi tiered leveling structure, Quartermaster has 6 paths you may choose from, 3 of those paths have a limit on the number allowed on the ship.
-Pilot limit 4
-Cook limit 2
-Doctor limit 2
These have limits
-Sailmaker
-Coxswain
-Powder Monkey
These don't have limits
So when you reach quartermaster state what you rank up next in is your choice. You will have to keep in mind that Doctor, cook, and pilot don't actually reach any higher state however they have a limit to the number allowed on the ship. Makes your title more unique however you won't be the highest rank you could potentially reach.
Now if you did take one of these titles then decide later you wish to be a poweder monkey, sailmaker, or a coxswain I will allow this.
Once your title is changed you can start working your way up the food chain to the highest attainable rank in that category. I will not however allow a Carpenter, Boatswain, or Gunner to drop down to a rank with a limit set, its only one way, a limit rank can go to a non limit rank, but a non limit rank can not become a limit rank. UNLESS coming from Quartermaster.

If people are happy with what I have set I will put this up on the main page, and give everyone a rank. No one who is already in the guild will start as a land lubber, I will not however place anyone into the level 40 requirement rank yet, only at the end of this month will that rank be allowed to any player at or above level 40 and already in the guild, at the time of this posting.

I didn't read it carefully (sorry, too damn tired right now) but from what I saw, that looks like a complicated, yet fun, rewarding ranking system. Something my guild could use as well, seeing as how there are only four ranks...

I have updated the front page with all the new guild information, added a little extra as well.
As for the ranking system, you need to go through the ranking system to see what direction you wish to go. Then give me the rank you want and your level. If you don't care I will assign you to a level set and give you a rank just based on your level, in any case I need to know your level.
I know that everyone isn't registered to the forums, and everyone in the guild will not see this, it would be helpful to find out what everyones level is this first time around, after that I leave it up to the player to keep there rank updated.
