I need to contact Little Frodo in regards to adding it to the WIP archive still, but it's not what I was hoping for. It's not real close to finished - and most if it is stolen from Jester's Unrest2.

Well remember that Nashalrath was always meant to be an expansion of Unrest2_bets as i originally told you, but good news, i found a guy to work more on it, so next source il send will be better.

You and/or Littlefrodo actually used a part of unrest2_beta1 in Nashalrath? That's downright pathetic. If it was Frodo who did this, I am deeply disappointed. I never imagined that the person who made one of the best looking MS: C maps (the_keep looks very good) would resort to copy+paste.

I did, and actually it was not a copy and paste, Nashalrath was built on unrest2, i changed the name and lore to the place.
Thothie told me i could expand and work on it, so i did.

Eh, no... Lady X put that together with her terrain generator tools (+ some of my l337 photoshop skillz), but tis true, it did wind up with a similar layout. ;)

Meh, the map is too dense to use this same method to make anymore - been trying to come up with some other layout that'd work. (Also suspect will have to update the forum theme with said.)

Well...You COULD use China, it obviously is suited to being densely occupied.

I sort of started making Ocean Crossing a few months ago, haven't worked on it for a while now. I never asked whether anyone was working on it, nor did I tell I was working on it. Most of the brushwork is done but it's only a small island that was mainly designed for connecting maps. If someone else makes OC, I guess mine could be some other map then.

You can do the Isles of Dread, or something, J. You and Rickler are both great mappers, so I'm happy either way :D

Well, mine could be the level to yours and then from yours. Mine is a large galleon ship in the middle of the ocean with water scrolling by. Orcs in a viking like vessel board during the trip and you have to protect the capt'n until the end.

J (or was it Jon?) rebuild the Deralia Gallion to exact specifications (it's docked on Ara), I can hand ye off the source for that if ye want, and maybe you can Orc that up and make it the pirate ship. ;)

I rebuilt it, dammit.

I was thinking of two ships meeting in the middle of the ocean too but ended up doing an island. Sounds great though.

Maybe. This is quite a small island compared to Dread, but I guess it could be part of that.

We could maybe split OC in two, Rickler's could be a connecting map between Deralia and my island, and my island would be connected to Rickler's, Tundra, Dread and Ara. Or we could put Rickler's map between my map and Tundra, Dread or Ara. Or we could have, for example, Rickler's map connect to Deralia, Tundra and my map, and my map connect to Dread, Ara and Rickler's. I don't know how difficult the galleon map will be but if it's hard, it should maybe be placed after mine (looking from Deralia).

I dunno, these are some suggestions to meditate on. We do need to take care of consistency though, so that the ship doesn't change when transitioning. :p

J... Jon - keep getting those mixed up... No idea why. >_> Yer alright with me passing out the source for that, yes? (Just the boat, not the whole map.)

Well, the original idea, was to build the map ala. pvk_collusus, and have you on the Deralia boat, going some place – then another boat full of orcs comes along and boards ye. If the captain survives the assault, you get to go where you were originally headed – and if not – you wind up shipwrecked somewhere else. Votemap gets around the negative side effects rather easily, needless to say, but it’d likely still be a fun map in and of itself. Plus we could finally use those damned sharks. ;)

ATM – Ara is the only place to go, but CSS is also working on an island map, and I have a complete island map or two that could be ripented up into parts of the isles of dread. The boat is also supposed to go to the iceflats of Tundra, eventually.

Isles of dread == Dreadwind, correct? Lanethan sez that's end game and should not be done half-assed.

Eh, no... I just ripped the game from an old D&D Moduel. ;) [Old as in, 1973, old]

End game would be Lor Mor's palace. No clue where Dreadwind even is, lest it's that other continent.

Yes, that's fine. But I must WARN YOU, for there is an extra brush there that was left from the decompile. I recall it's on the mast, at the tip of the right side of the cross beam. It's the tiniest brush but should be removed anyway. I noticed it while doing a recompile of Ara that I should probably release at some point...

Btw, who made the boat originally? I forgot to include that in the credits file but I'll be putting it there in the next version.

Oh, and as I said, my map was meant to be a connecting map with no specific mission or battle (some enemies will of course be included) so it would be nice if it could serve that purpose. I don't mind if Rickler's map will be OC, I'd just like to have some of the transitions in my map because I already have places for them (3 of them to be precise).
