Tried to get an fshard on my slot 1 character. Turned in the symbols, killed Undamael. No shard dropped. And then the chamber stopped opening altogether and I am locked out. Ran it with a friend and we tried everything we could to get it to spawn. Nothing. Quest isn't complete in console but I also can't get more symbols.

As strange as your reply to mine. 99% of the shit he's posting are bugs that've been with MS:C for years. Read: Quirks.

There is a bug list of ANCIENT bugs that have yet to be fixed. I'm sure some of these are on there. Instead of making a thousand posts, I recommend you compile a list before your next post. Please? No one likes seeing the current patch thread update... when there's no actual patch.

This thread is for bug reports though... you're asking people to not use it for its intended purposes. I stand by all the bug reports, I think it's great someone's actually reporting the """"quirks""""

Would require us to upgrade the SDK to the proprietary "Fix Thothie's Life" version, which I don't think even Elon Musk could afford, at the moment. ><

A lot of these have been being thrown into the "ancient and perpetual" bugs that shoulda been there, but yes, cataloging the quirks is useful - sometimes it also turns out they are related to other bugs.

Although...
The lil' dude will vanish whenever you're in contact with a func_ladder.
I skipped this one, as I'd be really ticked if one of our few coders actually took time out in order to fix that, instead of something else, and it's the sorta mystery that would ensnare some, and probably involve fundamental rewrite of major chunks of code to fix.

I can think of so many players who are going to be devastated by the fact they can no longer do straight damage with their crescent blades. Yes, the many hundreds of players who use crescent blades.

Strange we never noticed that before... Meh, nerfing his hp a bit while I'm at it.

Speaking of hit rate, is the fire and frost giants at shender never missing intentional? Also the frost giant can get stuck inside that pit area in such a way that he clips into the ceiling and can be really difficult to hit or even impossible to hit.

AOE attacks don't miss, and I think the giants are entirely dependant on them. Now, getting stuck in that pit, on the other hand, (assuming you mean the one leading to The Hallow One and the bird), not so intentional.

Yes, that pit. On that principle though, shouldn't axe leap attacks hit 100% of the time?

Well, when your axe is 10 feet across... Sadly, I cannot make NPC AOE attacks have a miss chance, without hax that wouldn't properly report, and as he's an oversized mob designed to deal with multiple opponents, not much choice there. A few other creatures have this problem, such as the Lava Wyrm.

Not that it'd be a huge deal, with the hit chance probably being 80-90%, though yes, it would at least allow lightning DOT to have an effect.

Player weapon attacks go through an attack registration system where that can be adjusted with reports. Could probably rig it so the player axe leap attack hits 100% of the time, but it might require rebalancing on some of the heavier hit-missers.

I think it'd make the most sense to make an AoE axe attack hit apply after you connect with one enemy. So if you land a hit on one, enemies crowded around you or the target get hit 100%. On the subject of axe leap if you dot something, or otherwise do any kind of damage during your leap the targets will be pushed around regardless of their distance to you.

The tree bow, short bow, orcish bow, longbow, elven longbow, and light crossbow do not seem to have a level requirement. The Thornbow and Steamcrossbow need an average of 20 and 35 in all three levels. Instead of just the advertised 20 and 35 proficiency(Thanks Demoneye). I mention this because while it's not very pheasable to use the steamcrossbow early it's possible to use the thornbow a level or so early.

That shouldn't be possible... The system works on Proficiency internally, for all weapons, I don't think it cares about the type of weapon or subskills.
