Even without the cheating and the exploiting, you have to understand that all the damage he's done to the mod alone would more than justify it. The fact that he continues to advertise cheats and exploits, in this day in age, just kinda proved that there was absolutely no hope for him. :\

Would there be any chance of moderating his account quite Strictly?
I mean, sit down, talk to him... See what he has to say, if you guys can come to an agreement.
I understand what I'm asking is a tad out of line, and even as you said, It was a last resort to ban him.

well....I never saw JM tell anyone anything that everybody doesn't already know. In fact, I have no idea what would even constitute an "exploit" as anything I can think of literally every other player over 500 HP does.

I think the big issue about nerfing is it can make it so we can't solo maps that only reward one person. One of the most obnoxious aspects of this otherwise fun game is the fact that rewards are doled out to individuals when most of the time it was a team effort. this can really strand and discourage players stuck in the 500-750 range who need help on the harder maps yet none of the higher levels are around or don't want to as they have everything already.

Actually, I was experimenting with it, but I thought it wasn't working... I forgot to remove the expar from the script, and it apparently, started working. :\ (Post about it is still there btw.)

I know from a dev point of view that fixing bugs/sec.holes can take a while with such a small team, but then again you can still show us what he did even tho they are not fixed. I don't think anyone here wants to get banned for using them and if someone uses them you can see it and take the appropriate actions.

Banning him in this case was the right choice even tho half? of the community says else.

However, the introduction of death penalty negation items like the Armor of Bravery makes this fall apart. For those with these items death is meaningless, a slap on the wrist.

It helps a huge amount in leveling and breaks the game in that point.
Can be easily fixed or at least get nerfed a bit but i don't think it's good to do so. One thing which came to mind was that it only works on every other death.

Imagine that you somehow... managed to reach a certain lvl where it takes a really nice time to lvl up once a skill, imagine what would happen if u couldnt negate the death effect when you died, imagine the numbers on stats going up higher with each death, and making you not earn that much xp at all... now imagine alot of high lvl players raging and posting in the forums on how terrible this is (it is already terrible to lvl up in this game at some point, so removing that would make it even worse for everyone who grinds).

And i thought the penalty we get instead is loosing the xp earned on death from non boss npcs... and dmg effectiveness on bosses. So that statement isn't entirely true. We are already loosing things on death, you are just trying to point out that players should loose even more than they already loose on each death.
