Hey, I've been playing MS:C for 2 weeks or so, I'm now a 23 fencer with 19 swordsman, 27 parry, 18 blunt arms, 17 axe handling, and 10 SC. DarkTide looks like a cool guild and I like most of the players that are in DarkTide that I've met (Ex. Odin, hemer), so I'd like to be in Trial. Btw my name in MS:C is Trombone.

Errr hmmmmm late reply yesssss.......
Any who I guess if you want to join you gotta swear to uphold the laws (rules) of DarkTide and then Ill set up on a trial.

Malchus here, been talking with Oyster in-game and this sounds like a nicely knit-together bunch, I'm an experienced mapper but rusty, well, several-years of rust and corrosion took away my shiny skills with Hammer, but, it'll look good having a mapper on your team.

On second thought, I'll have to cancel my own trial period, domination and condescending actions and words against me are not something I enjoy, and since I play this for fun, I'll not join DarkTide, enjoy yourselves.

I apologize if I offended you friend, I was merely bringing up the fact that we already had a mapper onboard. Hell at one time we had two or three onboard. Creativity is encouraged! A lot of the stuff that is in-game has been made from modelers & mappers such as yourself. I personally think you were being a little dramatic so if you do get offended easily, you're right, this isn't the guild for you. Personally, I think we have a great group of people as it is. I welcome anyone to join. Hell the reason I joined DT was to have people to play with and have a great time. Best of luck in your endeavors than.

Nah, I'm just incredibly offensive and want to keep having fun without verbally castrating someone else at some point, not that big of a deal at all. It was entirely irrelevant to you having a mapper.

Alrighty then senior, if that's your decision. Should you decide to get back into mapping though, be sure to post in the forums. MSC is always looking for mappers. I would check to see which maps need to be completed, you can always grab something from the abandoned section and hone your skills. Take it easy 8)

Siriusly though, we could always use more mappers, even rusty ones... But as former DT member Dridje and others have discovered, you will need a thicker skin for that too - people dog on mappers around here - even on Crow and Rickler from time to time. Hell, you need skin of composite alloyed steel to do anything in this community - including play the game! >_>

Hence most devs barely play MS:C once a week, if that.
Hell, I don't even play this game often anymore, but that's because of the little care most of the community has for me and anything I do, including my skins.

Might be true of MiB (which is fine, given the department he specializes in).... I play at least three times a week myself... Seems I see Sabre and FER out there quite often. Dridje plays more than is healthy, I'm sure.
