Tis one of the advantages of MSC over most MMORPGs: it's primarily first person, so you don't have to stare at your ass all day.

Lets get straight into the answer: leave it as elf NPC or TRY using it as the female player model?

How about for now. We dont have armor for the different races. Just have the player model and say what armor you have. Thats not hard.

The elves typically wore eastern empire-like armor (Japanese and/or Chinese style scale armor). At least, that was according to Lanethan's lore. The elven short sword looked like a wakizashi for a bit.

The punch animation for the rogue is compatible for the elf...means decompile the elf, move the animation recompile rogue = done

*sigh* - sadly any Warcraft is close enough.

...There were a lot of mods for Warcraft III... Maybe can find some people involved with them who have custom models they'd like to donate. I think they convert over to HL1 fairly easily.

imo the 2nd one Thothie, actually screams out "i was ripped out from wow" even more. Has the exact same hairstyle available to a human female, but still a good model nontheless. Maybe in the future, we'll have different races :D

its actually this model with another skin and another hairstyle.

i got a program called wowmodelviewer that has the ability to save models as ms3d, thus making them usable in milkshape.
