It is done, save a couple custom animations.
I'm posting it here, cause I need a name for it, and ideas for how it can be implemented.
It's a one hander, looks tomahawk-y, so it could be thrown. I, however, do not really want it as a throwing axe.
Ideas I have for it:
Soulfire- The axe's magic lights you on fire, cause massive damage to your surrounding opponents. This high damage comes at the cost of both your health and mana, unless you are equipped with fire immunity. This effect lasts for a set amount of time, or until your mana is depleted.
Wide Arc- My idea for an axe attack, it's basically a wide sweeping arc, as opposed to the knockback charge.

I kinda wanted to stick in FER's old death scythe:

Cheezy as it looks, it'd look nifty when thrown.

Granted, if someone wanted to turn the Bludgeon axe into a playermodel, that'd be more imporant... I'm looking into using the mithral hammer's model for the Bludgeon Bludgeon.

But ATM, really have more weapon models than I can use. >_>

Sadly, the two most baddass looking weapon models we have are Shuriken's Felewyn Apostle Blade, and Orochi's Torkaloth Apostle Scythe (I think, the lost blade, and the dread scythe, accordingly), and we won't be ready for either of those for a long while yet.

Hmm... Who's flaming guitar axe is that then? :\

I'd probably take Sabre's bird of paradise axe over it, because it at least has the right hands, if for no other reason. Then again, I have a model and source for the guitar axe, but not for Sabre's.

I did make it, but I regret making it. It was more for learning, not to actually see that crap in game ever.

Sabre, that axe looks awesome, but I'd rather not see it as a throwing weapon, I've learned my lesson, I don't want to ever want another throwing weapon ever again, please :( Orochi's Dread axe is sweet, but the pink is a weird touch oO Looks like it came straight out of Anarchy Online :)

@Thothie: Still needs a bit of work in the animation department, but I can promise it for February, for sure.

I do have a little criticism for that fire axe. The texture is too low res for such a low poly model. It looks almost blob-like. If the texture was firmed up a bit, and given more definite edges, then it would look worlds better.

Don't think your axe needs UVmapping, its a pretty simple model

No offense against your Modelling skills, but I dont like the Fire Axe. It could be a bit more detailed (skin) then it's perfect.

QUESTION
When i Do a Skin, do i have to do Animations??!
What Programm is the best for it??
