Hell, you can use undead AND bludgeons - they play nice. The Bludgeons might be enough to keep Bruce Campbell off our back too. :roll:

Quick mapping question: Is there a fast and good way to make rocky walls? I keep trying with vertex + clip tool, but they always turn out wierd and blocky.

And I'll switch out the orcs. I wasn't thinking of LotR when I made it...

Any name ideas for it?

Maybe you could script a new undead boss for the map... :wink:

Another good idea witch forest map :D!

Second idea - little farm with some villagers to defend (like old_helena) and they are attacking by mad animals :p

This idea sounds awesome. Bout time the orcs got the fight taken to them >:). Also, how about lots of human soldier allys, like the kind of find in derellia?

True, but maps can take a while to do. Was unsure if the mapper had given up on it or not.

And no, I'm still working on it. I've gotten pretty far, and I'll finish once I complete the boss room. Right now there are more than two arenas (currently working on the third/boss room) with mid-level challenges.

I've been working on it for about a month, so it should look/be good for all the time I've spent on it...

Thanks for all the positive comments, just one thing that contributed to me staying on this project :D . I've yet to decide (with Thoth's help) what the boss is going to be and how challenging it will be to fight him.

On an unrelated note - [Crow] I hope you don't mind me putting this in my signature, and/or whether I consider myself a MS:C mapper or not... :wink:

Deffinitly think if you are mapping for MS:C you have the right to put MS:C mapper in your profile, so no worries there. Especially since there is no Lead mapper or an official structured team per say. So don't sweat the small stuff and keep up the work mate.

By the way, any chance we could get some either in-game pics or hammer screen pics before a release just to whet our appetite?

Eh... my previous boss room had some issues with the map, I had to remove it, so I'll need to make another boss room. Ideas are welcome.

I dont' quite understand...

You need to tie a solid brush to a tigger_teleport entity. Any player that walks into the brush will be teleported to where ever your trigger_teleport is pointing to.

That would be an info_teleport_destination, I think.
