troll is postponed untill more important models are done, like... human player models.

If someone *cough *anyone*/cough *could come up with a detailed, possibly-too-much-to-even-hope-for rigged and animated human male model, that would be a massive step forward.

We're currently in a self imposed "media blackout".
I would love to use your drawings as concept art for the modelers if you're willing, but I won't be putting any media up on ModDB until I have something significant to show.

Vomika, I've noticed that your drawings aren't the best reference images.

Your drawings are lovely but if you made some versions similar to these then they would be excellent for reference images for modelers.

I fully intend on drawing front, side and back angles of these characters. given that you all like the look of them and dont want me to change anything.
you don't necessarily need to upload the modelers reference drawings, as you can see here.

I think concept art is as significant as anything else, it would just be nice to finally get some attention and gather up a few watchers and more attention means more talent looking into this mod and wanting to help get this project finished.
And this media blackout thing is garbage, it looks like we've been in a media blackout for 6 months already.

No, no it's not... If I had a nickel for every mod that was just concept art, I could liscense the damned Source engine.

If you really wanna show progress, and encourage let folks know there's something going on, finish a model and post yon images of said creation. Prove that it's more than just fantasy.

Like Thothie said, I believe MS:S has shown enough "concept" art or related media over the years. I'm not making another media release unless it's showing the game in action or content that is roughly how you'll see it in the first release.

Even I don't know...
I really do like the drawings, perhaps I'm slightly aggressive, but they do look like the baddies that I'd want to beat up. If even just one of them were turned into a model to be used in MSS, I'd be very happy. (Not that making me happy is a life goal of yours or anything.)

I like some of the drawings as well, and I would love to use them as reference pictures for modeling.
If you're willing to allow that, Vomika.

EDIT: I just noticed your post on ModDB. Alright, you're on the team as a Concept Artist. The media blackout still stands, but we're in definite need of internal concept art, be it for monsters or locations.

I was wondering how you guys were going to go about adding armor to the player model.
hopefully not overlay like in the old MS that yielded tons of visual bugs.
2hzu5xg.jpg

1- Just helmet and body submodels that replace the original models.

2- Helmet, Body and Legs submodels.

3- Helmet, Body, Arms, Legs and Boots submodels.

4- Helmet, Body, Arms, Legs, Gloves and Boots submodels.

5- Extreme customization, Helmet, Body, Arms, Legs, Gloves, Boots, Shoulders, Bracers submodels.

sorry i cant go into detail, im running short on time this morning.
honestly i think 1 is the best way to go.
